I find there are maps mods which seem to act more as gatekeeps to builds rather than a challenge. Primarily this is seen in reflect but this can also be found in permanent curses, regen, and max resist. Have you considered making such mechanics an active element of the map such as tempests or debuff areas?
Have you thought about making another game besides PoE?


I think trade is fine btw. People complain about power creep and don't understand that item availability is related.

General:

Does GGG pay Neversink for his work (item filter), to be used by GGG in Xbox and PlayStation version of the game?


Technical:

What information do the crash logs contain that are send to GGG if a cash occurs (eg Exception Error)?


With the recent DX9 change (binned to improve on DX11 and not be held back by DX9 compatibility checks) and the recent Betrayal lag/load problems, what are the updated recommended PC specs (eg minimum 4GB non shared vram, 4 cores, 8-16GB of RAM and an SSD)? Better, an (M.2) NVMe SSD?


How much would the performance benefit (random performance drop from random asset loads that were not preloaded) with an Intel Optane drive and its near physical RAM latency/access speeds for 4K random reads?


Does GGG recommend capping frames via FreeSync (Enhanced FreeSync)/GSync for a smoother game experience? Because POE is not a competitive first-person shooter in a LAN environment. Is GGG planning on writing up a recommendations article for AMD/Nvidia graphics card systems in this regard?


Is a server lag symbol for the F1 telemetry option in the works, which Jonathan Rogers specifically mentioned during Beaclast 32, akin to Quake3 ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PkbAlC1po3c )?

¿Do you do birthday barbeques or similar events at GGG? If so, ¿do you have somewhere special in New Zealand where you like to meet?
since your MTX is quite expensive why there is no real way to let me try it before actually buy it?

i made few mistakes buying MTX that i absolutely hate it after the first try to put it on my character because of that i waste my money for free

and i can't get a refund or exchange the supporter pack because of i already try to put it on my character

Are there any chances for quiver mtx?
Pace of PoE increases from year to year. During beta and after release PoE felt balanced in strategy and action for me. Today PoE became much faster and the best defense is to kill mobs before they attack instead of reacting to their attacks.

Do you have plans to reduce the pace with 4.0 and bring back more strategy to the game?
Hi, I would like to ask couple questions and apologize if anything is already covered by the time I finish the post. I do not expect for all to be answered but if any will be picked I am thankful beforehand:

* New leagues bring new content and various ways of increasing player power. However most challenges stay the same which results in overall difficulty dropping. Are there any plans to introduce additional, more challenging content, similar to Delve or Betrayal encounters in core game?

* During the league start it's frequent to see GGG addressing not only technical issues but game play experience and balance tuning. Are some of those predicted as possible issues before launch and you have possible scenarios drafted out or do you go by player feedback and data or perhaps mix of all three?

* The last couple leagues have felt like complimenting the core game more than the Atlas end game, or even feeling like separate content itself. The new objectives feel like extension of Leagues and the Master rework that simply happen to occur in Atlas. Have you considered freshening up the Atlas experience with larger changes than the per League position reshuffle?

* With Spellcasters being the focus of current and Meelee focus of next League there is still one play style left that could use some creative touch up. Can we expect a similar Summoner "league" in future?

* What was the difference and challenges when making PoE available on console versions as compared to PC? Supporting multiple platforms is no joke and I'm curious how you are keeping it up.

* I'm a huge fan of the complex crafting systems PoE has to offer and very much enjoy the freshest addition of Synthesis mechanics. However this made me realize lately I've been thinking a lot about "what cool thing will I make today" and almost never about "what cool thing will drop today". What is your opinion on current state of gearing and loot?

* I'm working in IT industry and it's well known tech debt always find a way to sneak in. What is the oldest piece of legacy that you would like to address?

* When sitting in front of code I just can't imagine starting the day without a good Americano. Do your team members also have a daily morning ritual?
