Map Stash Tabs in Standard League

I know the map stash problem in permanent league is an issue but solving this giving the ones with stash tab a bulk update of the league's new maps while others still have their old maps untouched.... seems wrong.

I simply meant "help" in terms of saving a lot of time converting maps at vendors, not everyone wants to sit there for 2 hours straight clicking the shit out of their mouse just to end up with less maps that are slightly better than the old ones...
This is a method far from being p-word worthy yet I feel making a right decision here might be quite difficult, GGG already stated in a previous post that they found it hard to come up with a reasonable solution and who knows, this might just be a "test" of sorts to see how this system might be improveable.. which it most certainly can.
Then again... it's not like as if you couldn't still convert all your maps manually, so this feature isn't gonna play that big of a roll in the game itself especially since it only happens once every ~13 weeks.

edit: so I typed up a list of questions and possible remedies. then i checked reddit and sure enough a lot of questions were answered there.

so, can bex just edit her original post and add these answers? like unique maps will stay unlocked and whatever else she answered.

the feedback in the official forums is non-existant anyway and it is a complete waste of time to post here. i'll not give any feedback at all anymore and stay on reddit where ggg actually, sometimes, responds.

I just returned to poe and was literally running old maps all day from my map stash tab to clear it out for the new ones. Hundreds of maps in there from old atlas. Thanks ggg glad I don't have to worry about this anymore.

PLEASE let us delete tabs! I can't get rid of the Map tab from Abyss league. It's empty, remove only and just sits there making it annoying for me to scroll through my tabs! How hard can it be?

I thought the most logical solution would be to stop changing the atlas every league.

This is good news, thanks. And if you like, you can take all my empty remove only tabs and give them (as new tabs) to new players based on some RNG model. I wonder how many unused map tabs are out there? As a player finished act 10, their name goes into a pool and the prize is a free map tab if they are lucky and don't have a map tab already.

Recycle Remove only map tabs!!
