3.6.3b Patch Notes

Ominous silence about betrayal content lags and crashes. Betrayal content already removed crafting as an option for casual players from the game, thus making the game impossible to play in not one but two ways.

You know the lag/crash issues exist. If you post these kind of patch notes, please at least mention you're either working on them or just abandoning them. And give us an ETA if you can. It's just rude this way.

I'll go back to sitting angrily in my corner now, waiting and hoping to be able to play the game properly some time again. Seems not though, seems like i have to find another game. Which is sad cause i like this one. Whatever. Fine.

They were betting heavily on the hype from introducing them bringing players who had quit back. That's why it wasn't "fixed" earlier. They did the same shit with bestiary trading and the disabled syndicate mods.

I don't disagree that this would have been nice, however, lets maybe scale back the expectations for an FTP game when AAA publishers that have $60 entry fees and often have DLC, season passes, and deluxe editions that can cost hundreds and still can't manage to hold a candle to games like PoE in 99% of cases.

I agree, that sucked, and while encouragement and constructive criticism is good and healthy, lets maybe at least not hold them to a higher standard than AAA games industry. In the interest of fairness, maybe hold them to the same standard or less, but definitely not more.

In the very least they've figured out how not to do pay to win and lootboxes (I wouldn't count cosmetics like fairgraves in this, but I can see the argument for it) while also being free, and leaving off the last part, they are still years ahead of the industry as a whole.

I can also understand many people have chosen to sink 1000s of dollars into PoE and that's fair, but it's definitely a choice rather than a pricetag (although I'd allow an exception for argument about stash space since that technically makes such a huge difference in game play as far as QoL).

I'm kind of enjoying it, is there anything specific that you really don't like about it in comparison to past leagues?

For me some of the benefits of the league are:

-More things to do and min/max.

-Greater aspirational content to compensate appropriately for introduced power creep (there is no question memory bosses are far harder than uber elder).

-More content to engage with to decide how you want to engage the game as a player.

-Each map is far more rewarding in terms of loot and xp.

-Additional options for gameplay when you reach endgame to help balance some of the issues with gaining currency while early mapping.

-You are not forced into the new content (unlike intervention, which is THE WORST for all the reasons) which makes it entirely optional.

Better they removed syndicate, than abyss.
I loved Abyss in memories. At least somth I can take from those worthless locations.
