Grim Dawn Forgotten Gods felt kind of short

Granted, I only completed one difficulty out of 3, and there are some mysterious shrines left plus the endless dungeon.

But the story campaign feels shorter than Ashes Of Malmouth was.

I started the new class + soldier, 1h+shield, hope that i have fun as mostly other chars i went either caster or big gun class, no melee so far.

Which reminds me that spectral shield throw was never handled properly in this game. They should have done it similarly to how Tales of Maj Eyal handled Unarmed fighters' gloves, by rolling a completely new items worth of stats on top of each shield that only applies to spectral shield throw.
AoM didn't have a new game mode though. Still the acts feel smooth which is the most important. Tbh i'd still buy it if it came only with the 9 devotion constellations and the stash tabs cuz that's an awesome system.

i read about a new unique shield that count as a weapon or something similar

It is worth the small amount of money it costs, imo. If they charged $30 or more it would be another story but that is just me. I have mixed feelings about GD so ...

I'm rather happy it wasn't gigantic - grim dawn already it takes 2-3 times as long to complete all 3 difficulties in than i think it should. Time of my life just wasted after having done it a handful or two of times. That game leveling phase is extremely slow lol taking up too many days, imagine if here in poe it took 3-4 times as long walking all over big maps with a movement cap of +35% and clunky interaction with objects and terrain.

The new areas seem a little bit empty to me, then again - they are deserts.

Yea yea i know, they now have that thing to skip first two difficulties, but i still need find it and unlock it so again it became a long ass trip to level.

At the end of the day, the endless dungeon which i haven't tried yet and the sheer increase in items and new class is the main draw for me and it looks good to me.

Oh, I have not started oathkeeper yet. Can I borrow your build? I pretty much suck at GD builds.

I pretty much suck at GD (I don't play that much. That is my excuse and I'm sticking to it).
