You kinda glossed over the fact that its a hybrid build, its an life AND energy shield based build. The equipment you have on is really poor and offers little to no energy shield whatsoever.

Your skill tree is also in very poor shape, you want to follow the more traditional 2 cluster, 1 thread of hope for endgame content so your not cutting your overall energy shield by 30%.

I play with 3.8k life and 4.3k ES for example, others play with 4/5k life and 2ish k ES but either way your target is atleast 7k EHP with multiple defensive layers.

Just follow the actual guide on page 1, dont obsess over reading through all the replies, the gear on the very 1st page is accurate still and works well until your extreme min/maxing.

Get a Vertex Helmet, a solid high ES/EVA sadist garb, if possible with an open prefix for gain 10% of life as extra ES, get some good ES gloves, Atziri's Step slink boots, a nice stygian vise, onslaught on hit abys jewel, curse on hit ring, etc.

My stuff looks a bit different b/c im min/maxing and hand making stuff exploiting harvest crafts but I made all the $ to do it by using the above stuff I typed out starting out.

- quiver to more life, more dot multi, craft attack speed from bench
- medium clusters pick the jewel sockets and use rare jewels in it
- big cluster for the chaos one or at least not one with leech esp. if you don't use energy leech
- passive tree looks like copied from PF build tbh, doesn't have any ES nodes really, compare to what's suggested for tricksters
- get someone to craft you elreon's mods on rings or unlock the mods yourself, you can also use replica conqueror efficiency jewel for another -9 (limited to 1 sadly), that should fix your mana problem
- also don't use hybrid flask this is ONLY for hardened scars pathfinder version, you have corruption anoint, hybrid flask is useless to you since you got life and mana flasks already, use a jade preferably as a trickster, you need the evasion

Hey guys I'm having a bit of fun with this build, was wondering if anyone would like to have a look as to where I need to improve the most?
I am half to farming end game content rn, pretty much farming sirus 8 (now at awakening 9). Haven't killed Maven yet, mainly because I suck at the fight rn and wasn't chaos capped ( solved that today ).

Only going by feel and experience so someone can correct me if I am mistaken.
I think the DOT damage is much more noticeable at the high end you have reached - chaos damage impact is already tapering I think and adding more doesn't seem to have too much impact. But I'm also interested to hear what others say on this who really know the math...

Tbh as a trickster you should already have plenty of recovery on kill from patient reaper, but for other ascendancies brush with death or even cinderswallow can help substitute patient reaper. Tbh I wouldn't even go fettle on trickster, rather the life+es node (sublime sensation), trickster can use both of those stats and it's also probably cheaper than fettle which is rare and lots of pure life builds want it.

Another idea is small ES jewel with vile reinvigoration - increased dot damage + es regen.

All "increased" damage is the same mod, so just check which one you can get higher value (you can also get multiple on 1 item like inc chaos, inc projectile, inc aoe damage, inc dot etc.)

"Multiplier" mods are chaos damage over time multiplier and damage over time multiplier and is usually around 3x as valuable as inc damage but it depends on your gear and setup. You can get both on quiver and bow.

Also don't neglect attack speed, often in overall damage breakdown you can have plenty of inc damage but lacking attack speed and it can be your most efficient stat to add more of.
Ive had several people ask me about specific pieces like the quiver and amulet, how to go about making them.

I cant speak to the best method but can share what ive been doing.

Ive been relying on harvest crafts but have tried to avoid life seeds b/c the range is so big, so ive been buying bases I need with t1 life and then removable lines, what I mean by removable is;

anything with a fire, cold, lightning, defense, attack, caster, chaos, physical modifer



My quiver for example I bought for 2ex, at the time it had t1 life and t1 damage over time multiplier, then several trash rolls that I removed through harvest crafts.

Once it was just life and DoT multi I blocked the prefixs (just filled prefixs with crafted lines so theres only room for suffixs) and I began buying augment chaos, and then remove chaos/add chaos harvest crafts until I hit the t1 chaos DoT multi.

My quiver was the only really painful 1 for me b/c I probally got poison on hit/poison damage like 8 times.....eventually though I hit the roll and then removed the crafted prefixs and crafted on attack speed filling all my suffixes.

At this point I had 2 open prefixs, looking at poedb I saw that the influenced prefixs were movement speed, projectiles pierce an additional target, and + to max chaos resist.

I wanted the movement speed so I purchased augment influence and got the MS on 1st attempt.

Its pretty much the same for everything else ive done, this piece for example;



I got for like 60chaos, was just a ring with t1 life and ES and garbage rolls I removed, and then over time spammed remove/add fire, remove/add lightning, remove/add cold to get good tri-resists while keeping an open prefix.



Same thing above, augment chaos, remove/add chaos for the chaos DoT multi, and then augment influence for the other lines. At some point when im brave enough im going to use a Maven's Orb on that ammy and try to knock off the item/gem cost line and boost the chaos DoT multi or charge on kill modifiers.

Anyways though the TLDR, dont try to buy pieces with all the rolls you need, just find 1 or 2 good rolls and other junk ones you can remove and harvest them up yourself, if your new to harvest crafting use the official Poe.Trade discord, the harvest looking to sell channel.

In that channel before you buy from players make sure to check their vouch score, you simply go to the vouch channel and type ?vouch @playername to see their score. Make sure they have several positive vouches before handing your items over to them.
Hello, I have made it to Awakening level 5-6 with this build but I have some questions about improving. My boss damage sucks. I gather I probably need a better bow, but I'm not really sure what I'm looking for to make it better.

Also I don't see how we get the mana reservation to run clarity in the body armor and blood and sand in the helmet. After getting a high level enlighten I can finally run clarity in the helm that seemed to reduce mana issues, but I can't lose the mana regen nodes up near witch without having problems. I'm wondering how important steelskin is, because keeping all stats high is rough.

I have an amulet I'm working on to replace the talisman I have but I can't get augment chaos to spawn in the grove.

Any advice for improvements for damage or survive I'm missing?
