Syndicate Freezes, Stutters/Drops Frames Severely

Another long time fan who is strongly thinking of leaving. The whole Betrayal concept is not the direction I was hoping for in the game but I could live with that. However the present state of interventions is such a game killer and such an otherwise minor part of the game experience that there is no reason NOT to suspend it until a fix is made.

At present I've given up on progressing in Synthesis at all and am burning up old standard maps with a level 95 character and giving up any hope of further progressing that character because of the inevitable intervention lag-type deaths.
Same issue here, i already clear the shaders and also defrag the ggg file but honestly, still just as bad, i know theres syndicates on a map when my game freezes entering a map, its very annoying.
I simply don't understand why they don't answer. I was doing what someone told in the forum, which was to join a map and leave, then enter again, losing practically two portals. Unfortunatelly, Syndicate appeared soon, maybe 2 maps after I started doing it, and so far my encounters had lag but I had time enough to scape from death. Well, today it didn't work, I died even with this strategy. Now, I decided to leave only 1 portal available, because I know that if you switch between two areas several times, the lag reduces itself, but with Atlas maps, we have a short number of times to join an instance. Anyway, I have not died, but I have gotten game crashes and near death experiences with Syndicate, I would like to know why the f*** there is so much lag on a fu***** portal casted onto a map...
Try deleting a file named "minimap" in My Documents/My Games/Path of Exile It worked for me No Intervention lags Hope it will work for you
Have seen this solution several times, and i want to repeat and confirm what helped me.

I switched from Steam client to original and selected Dynamic resolution at 15. And of course defragmented GGPK. For last 2 days and 10+ syndicate encounters: very minor lags or no lags at all at fresh game start, and 1 huge lag against 3 dudes after few hours of playing.

How often do you defrag "content.ggpk" file?
same issue here.
its really terrible feeling. it kills the fun so much....
please fix it.
Can't level upper than 10%, everytime i get killed .... DO SOMETHING FFS!!!!

Yeah, the forum feels the same.
same problem, literally unplayable game now. stutters/freezes, unexpected disconnects, game closing without errors. sad to drop poe after 3k+ hours played..
