Syndicate Freezes, Stutters/Drops Frames Severely

They are busy chasing Unicorn Farts and Rainbows.
I switched from steam launcher to the independant launcher of the game and i set the game in high priority after starting on my computer.

I launched some maps in standards in order to test it out i encountered syndicate 2 times and i got very small freezes which are totally playable not the freeze fest that i used to have and i am considering to start a new HC character now.

I think one of these two things solved the problem i recommend you to try to switch from the steam launcher.
Have the exact same issue...
Every league I ask myself, do they really test the game before release? Do they really know what the actual f*** they are doing? Do they have shortage of developers? If not, then why the f*** those "code monkeys" can't do their shit properly?
Honestly, the worst league start ever and it's getting worse with each expansion... Please test the shit out of game before you release it...
One more to the cause, everytime i go into a map Syndicate literally my frames go to 0 and proceed to freeze my game and i end up in the log in screen.

Extremely annoying since i cant literally play endgame unless i use the Synthesis system wich, i'd rather play after finishing my maps.

Please fix ASAP!!
Just another person experiencing this extremely irritating bug here. Hopefully, it is fixed soon. It is very difficult to survive this one. I can't imagine what it is like to be playing HC and experience this.
Was having a fun time in the game tonight until back to back Betrayal maps, it literally sucks the fun out of the game and all desire to push forward. It baffles me that such a game breaking bug isn't their top priority, lootboxes that make you look like you are getting dressed to go to the Pride Parade are.

Oh well at least Sekiro comes out in 6 days, pretty sure I am done with this league even if this gets fixed...just too little too late.

Protip for GGG - Beta test..even EA does it.

These issues have been there since 3.0. GGG kept ignoring these issues because of those people who kept on saying "get better PC" or "get SSD". While your PC can run all the AAA games in super ultra settings smoothly, POE is this special snowflake that needs SSD.

We got stuck into a narrative that it is not the game's fault, it is the fault of the user's PC or internet connection. Making it a lesser priority for GGG to fix. But don't quote me on that last line, it is just what I believe because of the longevity of these issues.

Time to time, these performance issues have been reported but it got ignored to oblivion, because get a better PC right? But lately, more and more people are getting these performance issues. I am glad it is getting some attention now.

After 3.0, I did get a better PC with SSD, because I crashed at Oriath 2 to 3 times before finally getting in. I crashed randomly in maps. I crashed partying with other people. But hey, it's our fault, we need to get a better PC to play this game.

Getting a new PC fixed all the lag issues for couple leagues up-to Betrayal league. All smooth, although it takes up so much resources quite evidently. I need to close other apps specially any work-related softwares, while I can run multiple AAA games at the same time without any issues. Yes, POE is this special I guess.

Now this league is different. The lag issues and random crashes are back, specially during syndicate intervention. People with top-of-line PC suffer from similar issues. Other people don't.

Why is that? Well these performance issues never got to leave the game to begin with. Better PC just handles the burden better. But these issues kept piling up. New league keeps coming, optimization gets worst.

You may not get these lag issues this league. But sooner or later, it will get to you. Maybe next league, maybe next patch.

I went to meet up with my friends during Betrayal league to introduce them to this "wonderful" game. We were planning to have LAN party at a known internet shop. The queue was bad, but we waited and that was fine. Partying together, we all kept crashing every time. We ended up never playing that day, we played DOTA instead. They don't have interest on POE after that day. I can't explain to them why this game crashed, I have no answers. I don't have the audacity to tell them that the internet shop needs a "better PC". I ended up playing the league alone at home. It was a smooth league for me, I just hoped this league will be as smooth.

Seriously, i will not even ask to remove betrayal, but at least please disable intervention until you have it sorted on patch 3.7. I'm perfectly fine with anything else related to betrayal, but having the game freeze for like 2 min every time i get a intervention and sometimes even straight crashing, is not making this league enjoyable at all. So once again, let me reiterate, keep betrayal but, for the love of whatever you may consider holy, please remove intervention encounters already.
Same problem here :(
