Skill Rework - Storm Burst

Posting news in US time: didn't they say it's up by now. oh right, these announcements are off a day. let's wait, then. didn't know storm burst needed a rework.. well okay. now skills that are really outdated.. like sweep^^ Hey, hey! It's the Postal Dude! Get him!

If you want to completely overhaul skills that only needed minor tweaks, just make a new skill. Please. This isn't Storm Burst and the new Flame Totem isn't Flame Totem.

As much as I like the new looks in the idea behind this... please STOP with the phys to x.
In all honesty I also dont get why storm burst needed a rework in the first place. The skill was fine and working fairly well too on its own or in cwc builds. Only thing it needed IMO is a slight change in dmg numbers. Maybe I'm a bit too early criticize but what about skills like Puncture, Conversion Trap, Shockwave Totem, Burning Arrow, Explosive Arrow, Freeze Mine.... to name a few. " Also this. I very much agree. Trying to satisfy the whole PoE community is like telling a nymphomaniac to only have sex once in a week. I have been enjoying Inc cwc VD Chieftain, using the new use socketed spell on skill use craft to generate corpses with desecrate. Was just putting together trying to think of a lightning channeling spell I could attempt an eletric CwC build next league, and I believe we have a clear winner.
Will have to experiment with which spell would pair best with it since it will have both AoE and duration modifiers. Maybe Storm Call could be a neat combination, others on my mind being Storm Brand or maybe Ball Lightning. |
