Your player base is tired of being volunteer beta testers of a game that hasn't officially been in beta for years.

If this is what you think a beta is like, I shudder to imagine what you think of actual betas...

That's pretty much how beta testing goes: playing a game with lots of bugs and missing and/or disabled features. Not much of a difference between what you think a beta test is and just playing this game day in and day out.

You're either vastly overstating how many bugs and missing features this game has, or vastly understating how many of those things an actual beta game has. Probably both.

Next week we're starting the press tour for 3.6.0 where we'll show journalists what the upcoming expansion includes. We expect to announce full details on approximately February 14. We can't wait to show you what we've been working on since Betrayal.

Why are you telling the press / media before telling the people who actually play the game?

Because that's what a press tour is? They write big ole' articles for us, help to spread the news around to different gaming websites and magnify the hype. It's... it's literally the standard and has been done over and over by not only GGG but all video games, and it took them years to get the media to pay attention to this point. This is a GOOD thing. The media gets Pokemon, gets Fallout and Elder Scrolls, gets ALL big video game teases to release before we see them. There's a reason why CoroCoro is the big source of Pokemon information: that's the industry standard... and the standard for pretty much all entertainment. You should look into this. It's really very fascinating to see how the advertising world works closely with the entertainment reporting world.

I also felt this league was like playing a beta version. Too buggy, too unbalanced this time. Ok it may not be the degree of a early beta test... but still, this time it got way too many bugs to call it a full developed expansion.

Please GGG,

Lots and lots of player in South Africa / Indian Ocean => we BADLY need a GATEWAY for this part of the world !

I love PoE but stop playing because 250+ ms latency and ragequitting DESYNC are killing all the fun !

LOCKSTEP is NOT the solution !

Thanks in advance.

Do you look at the bug forum? "Lots of bugs" is a fairly accurate statement on my part league after league. Also when I said missing or disabled features I was talking about league features and not game features; things like disabled veiled mods that everyone playing assumed were working and enabled.

Every league is launched with problems that are either fixed half way through or fixed with the next league. Just off the top of my head here are a few. Perandus? First time you see a pack it was FPS death. Breach? Issues with combat in and out of the ring's edge. Beast? Oh boy. Delve? Flares are dropped but mobs are immortal anyway.

This is just scratching the surface to keep this response short. I don't know what your threshold is for something being or not being an overstatement but I kept my statement pretty simple and low IQ. Lots of bugs means enough bugs to be analogous to a game in beta.

I can’t buy any more big supporter packs because the forum only supports showing 7 legacy tags.

sdds Flashback
Trade system needs an urgent rework, people would call PoE's trading system a highly corrupt one under real world circumstances.

expansion ? ,,, beta ?? :) okay good news i hope is true expansion and news thing and not modified thing ,add trade auction will be nice , news special act up to 90 and news and mission more greatful than actual :D
Unless the balance direction of this game is addressed, it won't matter what else comes in 2019. Betrayal is an unmitigated disaster. Once upon a time it was easy enough for people who didn't want to deal with one-shots to play in their own sandbox away from all that crap. But with the introduction of Betrayal you do not have a choice, some asshole will at any time pop out of a portal and steal 10% of your XP whether you lie it or not, and running away just prompts them to teleport into your face. For the first time since starting the game, I felt absolutely compelled to play a broken meta build and it disgusted me to do so.

If this is the future of PoE, 2019 is not looking good. It's time to address the one-shot issue, and that starts with admitting that the underlying logout macro issue is not a "feature."
This is a buff™
