[3.10] Spidermancer | Arakaali's Fang Necromancer | Everything dead in 3ex | Level 100 reached

Started the build yesterday, currently lvl84 and it's an interesting build. A few thoughts on it:
- spiders' invocation is incredibly clunky. Sometimes you completely miss your shot even if bane is AoE. Miss 2 times and you're in for a rough time. It happens more than I'd like to admit.
- build definitely is not noob-friendly. It's squishy until you get Bone Armour and your phasing Quartz and Stibnite flasks.
- once you reach the 80's, the build starts rolling and really is something else. Really like it so far, the DPS is brutal.
- overall not a relaxed build because you always keep looking at the spiders' bar but super effective. I just picked it to kill Sirus AL8 and it'll definitely bring me there.

Cheers.
Iv'e converted my zombie necro to this build , following Keyen's version, love the damage but a bit squishy atm i have to invest a bit more, still learning the build and trying to keep cry's up. i have a few questions tho, is raze and pillage better than rotten claws? why a 2nd desecrate with cyclone? whats the best anointment on amulet? thanks
You have only bad options as suffixes on large clusters. It doesnt matter if you have raze and pillage or call to the slaughter. The notable is only here to gives you slightly more damage than a small passive. Rotten claws on the other hand is very strong and gives a good amount of damage. EDIT: My bad, mixed things up. NEVER use raze and pillage, it's a prefix and it's pure garbage.

I run two desecrates because one is automated. I want one so bones offering is always up no matter the situation, and another for selfcast when I want it.

The best anoitment is probably gravepact if you want more damage or a life notable if you dont (be careful about the minion accuracy if you dont pick gravepact)

I actually take grave pact and some extra life nodes above it while anointing ravenous horde. I should check pob though to see whats best fit. In my head i think the dmg / extra life this way will be better then taking the third passive on clusters, but not sure.

The third passive is not an option. The one you can pass on is rotten claws, and it's a bad idea to do so.

Wait what? My large clusters have renewal, rotten claws and call to slaughter. I was taking renewal and rotten claws and not taking call to slaughter.

Also keyen if you have some time and can check which jewels are best between stacking either ghastlys with flat life/minion damage when using a skill or flat damage vs cobalts with % life and flat % minion dmg. Im at work and dont have access to pob so I am really curious which gives more ehp and dmg.

For a large cluster with 8 passive, with RT, Renewal and CttS, you have two choices:
-You pass up on RT, which is "too far", and you can get the two jewel sockets in 5 points.
-You get RT as well, and it costs 7 points.

If you are not picking CTTS, that means you are picking a small passive instead, and it's bad (even without the conditionnal bonus, CttS is 15% increased damage over 10% for a small passive).

For the jewels, cobalt jewel is more EHP less damage, abyss jewels is less EHP more damage

If I'm not interested in going the Al Dhih route (cyclone, etc) do you think it's better to try to implement cluster jewels into this build as is, or do you think a specter (scale of esh/vaal fallen for bossing) + spider build would just perform better?

If you have a 6-link, phys-based Enhanced Vaal Fallen. Scale impale and you're good to go.

Kay's Spectre Summoner has more detailed info on spectres, but keep in mind her gear is really expensive so you won't get the same results unless you invest a fk ton.
Ok good to know. If have to check but I think my clusters are 9 passives so I was just taking rotten claws and renewal. Maybe I overlooked it. Ill check when I get home.
