" I think I almost bought for 5ex of fossils and I still didn't get both modes together. Rng is rng... But really with your sceptre you don't have minions damage OR damage of full life, I'm not a pro of crafting but your base will be pretty useless here. I would try to get a least one of the two before multimoding. |

Hey everyone! First of all, OP, thanks so much for the detailed guide. I skipped the Delve league and I had no idea you can do all those wonderful things with fossils!
Also, hope your GF is doing better and don't worry with the updates, pointing us noobs to the right direction is more than enough, least we can do is google around and find out how to craft the remaining gear. All that being said, I've always preferred playing melee characters so I started the league with a budget Double Strike Champion. After getting him to 85 I realized that I needed to try out something new to keep things fresh. That's when I stumbled across this build. I admit it was a struggle initially, especially getting past acts 7-8, where chaos damage ramps up a bit and with a tiny life pool it wasn't fun. But now it feels much smoother. If anyone could take two minutes and look at my character and point out anything I can improve, I would really appreciate it. Bear in mind, I have little to no currency at all, crafted the helmet, the shield, the gloves and the weapon, without trying more than once or twice due to my limited budget. Whatever currency I had I spent to buy the body armor. I am in need of Jewels for starters, I know. But seeing how people keep mentioning in the thread that they can hit 10k+ ES 'easily' it makes me wonder why I still am sitting at 9,5 barely. Thanks in advance to anyone who will take the time and take a look at my character, as I said, any help regarding the build is appreciated! |

Great job OP! This is one of the strongest builds I've played and it's the only spell build that feels like a caster. Currently farming T16s at level 76 and I'm planning on fighting my first Uber Elder at level 85!

" Hey, First I'd like to say, don't worry if we say stuff like "14k es easily". Most of the time it means we play a lot or know the game very well to manage and gain currency very fast. Your char looks good to me. Yeah you need a new weapon gloves boots and helmet but I know you already knew that! I'd update the gloves first. They are very low in ES. After try a good helmet if you can afford fossils or find some! After you need to lvl your gems and try go get 21/20 for vortex at some point. It's kind of expensive but the boost of dps it's worth it! Hope it will help a little |

Hello, just wanted to pop in and say that I just got my first Uber Elder kill with this build. I pretty much stuck to the guide (opting to go for a few more damage nodes than es nodes, though) and it is definitely one of the finest builds I've played. I've had minimal Uber Elder practice, and my gear is far from perfect, but I was honestly surprised by how well I held up during the fight. If someone reading this on the fence about trying it out, I can safely say that it's dope, fly, tight, and legit.
