" you can take a look at my tree. I opted for might of the meek, free-ing up some SP, and took sovereignty below ZO. 90% reserved mana, about 120 remaining pool, 67 mana regen per s, running aspect, disc+enlighten3+malevolence, tempchain+blasphemy (w solstice). (sometimes I swap out my temp chain+blasphemy depending on the fights). you could slap on an aul's for malevolence and run hatred too. I think currency is not an issue for you. There's a lot of dps in the right side of the tree for you to take, some optimization like taking the other/left route to get to fingers of frost instead. you've allocated like 10 SP more than me in ES haha. I'm already sitting at 10.3k I have no idea how high is your ES. at some point if you find yourself having more than enough ES you could start allocating it to dps on the tree. |

I made a few upgrades and holy shit, uber elder fight is a joke now. I don't think it took more than two minutes to beat him and I did not even come close to dying LOL. Best build I have tried by far!

" Besides getting some flat +mana and/or +intellect on your gear, consider getting one of these nodes in passive trees: Sovereignty (reduces mana reserved) OR Arcane Will Arcane will is actually my favorite that ima using, but it depends on your current situation. I'd say, if WITH Arcane Will you have at least 120 or more unreserved mana, take it, because you with Arcane Will you should get a tiny bit more Energy shield than compared to Sovereignty + tiny bit of mana regen too. But Sovereignty will give you tiny bit more unreserved mana... Really depends how you like it. Iam fine with anything that is 120+. p.s. to not spend orb of regrets a lot, import you character in Path of building and see what nodes from those two gives you best unreserved mana for your needs. |

How do you guys get so fast to fight uber elder? I am trying very hard to get to fight elder with no luck
I understand it's at the end of Zana's quest I was stuck on stage 10 for 3 weeks w/o intervening then decided to spend time and curr expanding elder maps to t15. took several hours but managed that. Then I spend the whole day yday trying to expand elder maps to 20 for him to show up just to see them collapse back to 10 |

" my advice is dont spend too much time trying to spawn elder influence on red maps. just try to spawn as many (at least yellow). there's definitely going to be some RNG involved. yesterday I had elder influence on 15 maps, most yellow maybe 2-3 white. quickly spawned 5 more yellow influenced elder maps (by killing shaper influenced maps adjacent and it was yellow at least). elder spawned on a t10, shaped it by retrieving shaper orb, applied it to that map (made it t15). after killing all the guardians, ran the t10 version of the map, shaped it using zana (6chaos and now it's t15). used elder orb, uncompleted all my t16s, ran a few random maps, suddenly elder influence spawned again (4maps), one of which was a t15 (completed map). shaper influence on ALL (uncompleted) shaper guardians (t16 maps). I can only deduce that once an elder influence is on a t15 (no matter how many elder influence maps there are on atlas), the shaper guardian would be shaper influenced. later I will be running the t16 shaper influenced shaper guardians, where upon killing them, elder guardians now spawn on the t16 elder influence maps. then run the t16s again, this time killing all the elder guardians, before entering shaper realm to get uber elder. " I have the same problem - it's just patience. I've had two red elder fights, but zero uber. Haven't completed 3 of the guardian maps yet either. |

Patience doesn't work, I tried that for weeks and got nowhere
I only got to elder T15 map after a big investment of time and currency fighting shaper maps on elder edges again and again Going from 19 elder maps to 2 over 4 map clicks was to much for poor Mittens Giving up on this for now Mittens out! |

" Uber is EASY to spawn, not sure what you guys mean, or maybe I misunderstand. Do red maps, elder will naturally spawn on the tier of maps you're running. so...do 14's /15's and his influence shows up. WIth in a couple maps the guardians have elder influence. Run one, then a adjacent one. Done deal. If you mean you struggle with popping red Elder, again, run upper tier yellow or red maps, his influence shows up, do adjacent shaper maps to spread elder. Shaper tends to attack the outer ring of the Elder influence and leaves inner alone. Don't let too much Shaper influence surround your Elder blob. there are many videos on youtube (and many linked in this thread) explaining how elder influence and all that fuss works. I strongly suggest watch of them until you understand how to manage it ;) Once you spawn it somewhere, it isnt that hard and it is not rocked siance.
You can do it! ;) p.s. iam even a new player, started just in Betreyal, so it is not like a "veteran saying that it is so easy". ;D |

hi guys,
i'm new to this subforum and need some help from experienced vortex players :) i started this league as necro and after reaching lvl95 and 33/36 with 3 lowchallenges left i started to play occu vortex as an alt. bought my gear for ~10 ex and i have ~10 left for upgrades. but that's my problem. what do you guys think i should upgrade next. bought most of the gear with lvl 69, so i have some resistances highly overcapped due to skillnotes giving them to me now. my gear is this: all tips are appreciated :) thx and gl! myn |
