Witch - [3.5] Occultist Vortex/Cold Snap ES/CI - Deathless and Safe Uber Elder and T16's - Forum

I changed my gear a bit : Still need a better scepter though... I choose this helmet because of high ES ( droped it from uber atziri). Im still res caped with this, and the +1 gem gives me a lvl4 enlighten, which allows me to use Malevolence + discipline + aspect of the spider and still have 180 mana left. I sacrificed 2 ES nodes to put them in mana ones, still at 11K ES wich is enough for me. Got a watcher's eye with +22% damage over time with cold with malevolence. Just put a "Might of the meek" jewel in the slot where your whispering arbiter jewel sits now. It will free you blast radius and arcane will, arcane guarding andfrost walker (just take a look at my tree there, although i had the luck of finding a shavs and converted to ll you'll get the trick). That will free you enough points to do whatever you need to do. Drop ash and frost + the 2 corresponding nodes and path to faith and steel instead (also res but es too). Path from deep wisdom to the right (2 nodes), and complete the wheel at written in blood, drop therefor 10 nodes at arcane expanse and essence surge. with the free points (and considering you took faith and steel) you can now reach spiritual aid. i hope that helped. gl	Posted by Sherubim#6318 on Mar 27, 2019, 4:58:47 PM Quote this Post

As you already got some help with your tree, maybe a general advice: Try not to plan out lvl 100 trees, you are most likely not going to get there. I don't want to doubt your commitment but give you perspective. It takes the same amount of exp to reach lvl 91 as it takes from 91 to 100. at the same time, the rate at which you gain exp goes down dramaticly, https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Experience has a detailed explanation of the mechanics at work. Lets just say reaching 100 is very time consuming and almost never worth it. Go for it if you dare, but don't count on reaching it. Also: You did not allocate Elemental Equilibrium in your tree. Thanks for the advice from both of you, I'll take a look at them while the server is down. As for EE...I don't really know if I care about it honestly. Maybe if you change your weapon setup a little to Storm brand, inc crit strikes, frost bomb. How do you do (uber) Atziri with this build? I did Atziri once and what I did to avoid the reflect clone was to put in trap support for hypothermia on my 6L Vortex setup. Just throw the trap and enjoy the AoE safely. Still, I am not sure if that would do enough damage for uber. Also, haven't tried HoGM yet but is that also doable with this build? I think it should be.
