Quick question: How viable is this build in 3.8? Did any of the core mechanics got nerfed? Just started playing poe this league.

Did anyone manage to complete higher ( t12+ ) blighted Maps with this build?

While normal blight encounters on T16 are good doable, for the later phases of juiced up blighted maps i am pretty sure there are better builds, even using vaal ice Nova.

Okay, its unfair to compare with my level 30 7l-zombie necro, but nevertheless, i will no longer try blighted beyond t10 with this one, its wasted ^^

Works quite well, especially the defense feels better compared to 3.7 ( had same build in 3.7 - using headhunter later though, but even before ).
The new Ascendency is really nice add i´d say.

Dmg. for the usual mapping stuff up to t16 is more than enough, even w/o 21/20.

Personally i would say for blighted maps ( from red on ) its not the best solution. While dmg is okay you waste too much time in the end to get from one end to the other and same time up some of the towers.

Maybe skipping towers COULD save time, but i don´t believe it rescues to general problem of needing to cover a huge area.

I use my necro for these maps from now on - while i am basically done with that the overall dmg-output feels like 2-3 times as high for blighted maps ( using quite endgame dps there tbh ).

You should swap your ice nova and frostbolt gems in cospris

wow, whoops! thanks. Im also going to remove Frost Bomb for now at least, i dont need the dmg i'd rather have Withering Step. Also replacing Whirlilng Blades for Shield Charge, there's less of an animation at the end of the skill

edit: wow shield charge feels 10x better than whirling blades, combined with withering step this feels so much faster now

Everything is easier with this build!!

English is not my native language and so I do not understand some things. Sorry about that.
Back to the point, my friend made this compilation (https://www.poebuilds.net/froscoc).
He has the same aps as me or close. But he moves with the cyclone at almost the same speed of movement "by feet".
I have a lot more Dps than him. However, I would like to understand why he goes so fast with the cyclone and I don't.

As long as your Cyclone has any mana cost, replace Hypothermia with Inspiration. It is just superior in any way
