1) Why does bonechill have no effect in pob?

2) Why do we not use efficacy instead of cold penetration? In pob it shows efficacy dealing more dps and having more duration

Hi. Looking at your gear I would suggest you to sell your stuff e.g. Dying Sun, Esh's Mirror etc. what brings you money and try to get an Inpulsa 6L. They are around 7ex. If you cant manage to get those 7ex then buy instead 2 Shade of Solaris. They are each at 100c atm. Afterwards I would focus on an Elder Ring with Warlords Mark and Mark of the Shaper Ring. That gives you a huge damage boost.

Selling my actual stuff will net me 2Ex, I'll only have 3Ex total. Would getting one Shade of Solaris + Shield and mark of the Shaper+Elder Warlord ring a good move? I found some rare weapons that seem to be good too and cheaper than Shade of Solaris :(

just wanted so say a few things about this build, or WO in general.

I never thought beeing fast (clearspeed/movement) would be so much fun!

Actually, I was never a "fan" of this efficancy-kinda-playstyle, but it seems to be very entertaining and just feels nice. Mind you it's not thaaaat lazy of a playstyle with the flask using, channelling timing, vaal RFing, flamedashing, and frostbombing. I honestly think after palying this skill, I will hate every other skill in the game :-D

I started with the "[3.5] Winter Orb CwC Ice Spear | MoM | Elementalist | Leaguestarter" from XenoPOE which was nice too, but then i thought: "why do i voluntarily sacrifice the just-click-and everything-dies-around-you-playstyle?". :-)
Even tough my showing DPS is much lower after specing out of crit, the overall damageoutput and the constant freezing of things seems to be quite the same.


The combination of the Solcist vigil amulet and the windshriek boots is just amasing for this build (and quite cheap), especially for just farming lower content!The pandemonius of course is the BiS for later.

My gear is not thaaat expensive , maybe 3ex in sum, (the elder-ring alone was 1,5) but I can kill everything so damn easy and fast up to T12-corrupted (didn't go higher so far).

i agree, id be extremely surprised if it doesnt get gutted next league. Its way to strong currently IMO.

Switched over from Zizaran's build to this and loving it so far, one question I have is how Shade of Solaris works with controlled destruction in the winterorb 6L or should I switch that gem out untill I can buy a new weapon?

Keep controlled destruction. The crit chance can't get lower than the base 5% and that is enough. The build is also using "Elemental Overload" on the skilltree which has the exact same "...if you've crit in the last 8 seconds" mechanic, and you'll see that you have the buff almost constantly.

Your Cinderswallow Urn has no quality, you might want to add that. Also I'd consider to use a few divine orbs on it since the recover x% on kill mods roll from 1-3 and I personally really like the 3% of life mod there.

Thanks for the guide! I have 1k mana. I don't have enough to run grace, aspect of spider, herald of thunder, and herald of ice at the same time. Which ones do i prioritize?
