And a question from myself: Is Vaal Righteous Fire really the best choice here? It feels like the Damage is not as brutal as a Vaal Double Strike or Vaal Blade Flurry would do? What do you think?

why arcane surge lvl 20 on flame dash? I there a synergy with #% gain arcane surge on kill that i'm unaware of?


edit: after reading the whole thread i saw that you use it on bossing. But thats 11 flame dash to proc it and it only last 8secs.

Clear speed depends on your movement speed.
The faster you can move, the faster you clear.

Check my gear, I have around 190 move speed, with flasks up.
It's fast

Just want to say thanks once again for this great guide. I've played since open beta (not every league) but never killed Shaper. I used to create new character after level 85-90 and not sustain red maps.

This build is a blast, killed my first Über Elder yesterday. First time i wasted all 6 portals but second time i got him with 2 deaths. Last run only with 1 death.

Should not be a problem deathless with this gear but I'm just a casual player :D

Vaal Blade Flurry doesn't exist, I'm assuming you mean Vaal Blade Vortex. Neither that nor Vaal Double Strike enhance the damage of Winter Orb.

aaah, of course i mean vaal blade vortex, sorry, my fault. i just aksing myself if one of the skills is better as vaal righteous fire, i dont want to change anything with winter orb setup.

Lvl 20 Vaal Righteous fire grants 39% More spell damage, so it buffs Winter orb. That's the point of it really as far as I see it, not it's damage.

yea its been confirmed by many its better, i never POB my build before posting the guide. its suppose to be a roughly 2-3% dps upgrade.

Added cold is 4 times cheaper at least.
