After 36 challenges and 40+ex I wanted to try something new and fun.
This build is just awesome!
It's like blade vortex but with 1,5 screen radius.

Leveling with this build is so satisfying. As soon as you get 2x Shade of Solaris you just run and forget about anything, whole screen melts.
Started this build today btw.

I did uber izaro at lvl 68, Shaper at lvl 75. Now I'm at lvl 83 and trying to spawn uber elder.

well, the polar opposite of the post above here is my gear!
I posted 3-4 pages back saying to never under appreciate the gear you guys get/farm. I have made it to 67 and have to say even with less gear this build is one of the most fun I have played and I have been in and out POE since BETA. thanks again and you can survive on a tight budget and a bit of conservative playstyle....proof below

can anyone suggest best gem set up for boss and map farming TIA!!!

i've been playing worb since league start and honestly ele worb is probably the best overall build in the game. it's sincerely awesome at all points in the game, from when you're dirt poor to when you're filthy rich. op is 100% correct when he says there's no reason to go for blade vortex anymore.

i elected to go with dual-weilding wands instead of scepter/shield because i wanted all the damage. i also really like the cast speed for qol from profane wands. guardians flatline in literally 5 sec, shaper and uber elder are super chill deathless, syndicates vaporize and don't threaten me at all. this build is one of the fastest mappers in the game as well.

i've made it my goal to try and min-max as much as possible. i'm still working on fossil crafting my helmet, divining my inpulsas up, and replacing my belt and jewels.

but yeah... if you're looking for the best build in the game, this is probably it. gear snapshot below:

yea the only thing I think blade vortex still offers is single target burst damage assuming you have vaal blade vortex up. But that's conditional and you also need to be in melee range.


I think when I get home from vacation I might try minmaxing a bit more. Dual Scepters might be an option as the life from the shield isn't really needed anymore at lvl 100 ;)


but thanks for backing up the fact you truly don't need GG gear for the build to shine.


Winter Orb is mechanically strong. Duration Scaling, AOE overlap, chill, and projectiles. Meaning as long as you invest in those three areas the build will function and only get better with gear.

I should mention zeels shield in my guide. I used that shield for a long time as the aoe is fun :) and its a decent shield for its price.

how you craft something like this?

U need a shaped ilvl 85 base of the item, then alteration orb spam "Gain 16-20% of elemental damage as extra chaos damage", regal it, use orb of annulments and pray chaos damage is the only remaining mod. If not, repeat.

Then u can craft all other mods in crafting bench, multiple crafted modifiers is 2 exalted and chance to deal double damage is 1 exalted. Rest of the mods is fairly cheap.

Having fun with this build. Breezing through maps and bosses. Currently lvl 94 and defeated uber elder with 2 deaths.
