No we dont proc this and thus we don't use Martyr of innocence.

in fact this build is immune to become ignited and shocked from our Golem ascendancy.
When Lightning golem is alive we are immune to shock and when flame golem is alive we are immune to ignite.

We get freeze immunity from a flask.

There is another Arma brand build that focuses on this if you want to play with that. Just search on poebuilds.cc

I have not taken eldritch battery. Something have either gone wrong or you have accidently clicked it in ur pob.

We do not use it. Any extra ES will be needed on the life side of the screen.

Your talents look allright. Your jewels could be replaced with damage over time and damage over time with two-handed weapons.
Also instead of two lifeflasks i would swap one of them to a Quartz flask for phasing to run through monsters for some extra safety.

I want to take my time to reply to this thread because it seems quite thorough and active. Just FYI I started playing this game back in incursion.

I just want to state a couple of problems I'm having with this build and if there's any solution to it (although every solution seems to lead to exalts exalts and more exalts). The build started out fine, I was kind of overpowered through the first part of the story, but in the second part I had a terrible time. I was dying too much and had this glass cannon feeling, I really like the dps but the survivability has been terrible (current death count is 238). I'm currently doing maps and I die in nearly every run and have to rely on others to help me out.

I've been following your thread and a youtube video for the build, there's some slight differences between these two builds and the one I was following in the youtube video is a big contributor to the amount of deaths I have. Basically they linked CWDT-flame dash-warlord' mark-faster casting which made me flame dash INTO mobs and get instantly killed. I couldn't even control where I was going, bad move from the youtuber. I had to remove CWDT because I couldn't handle it anymore, and on top of that I was way too slow.

I'm also undergeared, so my dps for mapping isn't at all high enough to do high tier maps, and the only answeer to this problem is once again exalted orbs, which I guess I'll have to farm for.

I'm very aware of maxing out resistances and defences/shields, and that has been done (resistances). But the character and the build just doesn't shine for me. I also do not have PoB so I cannot link my character nor see your PoB, so I'm at a dead end.

The mana flask in PoB has some edited Text on it to simulate our true dps. There are things that PoB cannot calculate by itself. for example having 3 golems up. and having 3 golems up with increased golem buffs from our scendancy. A few posts before this. I think on page 26 there is an explanation to the flask.

Ingame the Mana flask is just a regular Mana flask with the anti freeze mod.

Hello there. I never intended this as a end game super duper build. I made it and used it as a starter. And was very pleased with killing red Elder and Shaper.
I myself love diversity and always make 6-10 characters per league. This league i got 11 i think. and 7 or so above lvl 85 and one at 98.


The syndicates have been a problem on most of the builds iv'e followed or tried. The only one really tanky enough was the molten strike jugg i used to play with. But it did not clear as fast as I like to clear maps.

One thing that could improve survivability is to respec Mind over Mather and all the + mana nodes. And go to the right on the skilltree and take Phase acrobatics.

This could prove to be a big upgrade since it pretty much gives us
around 40% to dodge and survive blows that would normally kill you.

Other than this it's just hope you find things with more movement speed life and resists to further improve your characters survivability. Also in time you will learn what to tank and what to run away from.

Also your account on the forums is locked so I cannot see your characters. If you were to unlock it I could take a look at your elementalist if you want to. It can be changed in the privacy settings on the forums.

I hope this helps you a bit. But also don't be afraid to make another character and try something else. Experience with different things will make you a better player.

Would Xoph's Heart be okay with this build? I pretty sure Xoph's blood wouldn't be because EE would be jacked up. I seem to be struggling to know what I need for a true amulet upgrade.

yeah whatever gives you more damage without reducing your survivability works.

Xoph's heart gives you firedamage, life and some much needed strength for kaom's heart. Covered in ash is also very nice. Slows the enemies wich hit you and increases the damage they take from your fire spells.
I'm kinda new, im following this build closely, but ive been using herald of ice + herald of fire. I havent been using golemns, i was wondering, instead of golemns, can I instead run herald of ice + fire + storm, and on the skill tree, instead of going down the elementalist golem tree, i go down the herald one? Would that be ok?

or are golemns crucial to this build?

Can someone help me out?

On POE builder, i removed the golem nodes from the tree, and replaces the golem skills with the 3 heralds, the DPS went from 450 to 1811, again, I'm super new, so can someone with time on their hands explain to me why golems are better? I know they are, I'm just too new to know why ):

Hi there. The golem thing is the absolute best dps we can get with this build against end game bosses.

But in the guide i posted 2 different ascendancy choices. 1 for easier farming. 1 for endgame damage.

tbh. whatever floats your boat should be fine.
But the skilltree is only focused on damage over time and fire damage. So Herald of Ice and thunder would not add much to the build.

Also if you have Mind over Matter. We don't want to reserve mana for heralds as it lowers your effective lifepool.
You could skip all the + mana nodes and Mind over Matter and go for Phase acrobatics instead on the right side of the skilltree.

But hey! Try it out and see if you like it or not:)
