Slow Mo Zombies! (No Uniques Needed|Relaxed Playstyle|Easy to Gear|Anyone Can Play|All Content)[3.5]

Hey Wozmon :-)

Playing SSF I've had dreadful drops so far (typical luck for me lol), so the build was tough starting out, and certainly tougher than when I tested it SSF in standard. The Syndicate fight damage is very spikey, so I found myself not using charged dash much at all, but rather leading into the fight with skellies and the zombies following. I personally would not want to be stranding around cast SRS in some of those fights!
Good advice

"
I've managed to get a Vaal Skellies and that's made a considerable difference in the tougher fights. It's also very much improved once you hit your second ascendancy and the zombies really come into their own.
It's crazy how minions just improve so much simply by leveling! Nice job getting the Vaal skill. The Necromancer ascendancy is really strong.

"
All I need now is to farm a tabula. Ugh!
:-)

Edit: Oh, and I would not want to try this build in Hardcore. I think in the early stages the damage is just too rippy.
Until you're comfortable with the listed gems, this is really Summon Raging Spirits build in hardcore. It's just how GGG makes zombies.

Hi triniparty :) Well I was happy that the build managed to survive the mandatory nerfhammer attack at the patch notes, because i really like it :D
Me too! I'm glad you really like it. It's changed lots over the last bunch of patches. It's cool to have you every league.

"
You have restructured the guide quite nicely, even added a much needed noobie section (i guess that will grow over time and patches)
Thanks! Yeah I remember you suggesting having a section for new folks. I didn't forget :-). My problem now is the character limit. Even with all of the links that I added to other explanations. I'll likely have to create a separate page full of tips for new players. With the amount that I talk and explain things, I don't think I have the space for having two different weapon set options. 3.6 will likely just have the one handed version of my build again. And if people want a two-handed version we can talk about it in the replies.

"
The staff/skeleton variation is very intriguing, i am wondering how dramatic will the dps impact be. Those vaal skeletons are real beasts :D
I know right? The DPS increase is SO much higher. Even in the 4 link and no Vaal.

Thanks for replying. It's nice to hear from you.

I'm not playing HC SSF this time, but I haven't died (or traded) and am just getting out of the really weak zombies phase.

For people having difficulties with the syndicate, I strongly suggest checking out my post on the first page of this thread. Make two +1 fire wands, so you can have a Totem for Summon Raging Spirits as well as self-cast. That combo has gotten me through all the fights - like my first blood altar - when all my zombies were instantly killed.
That's great advice! SRS is such a gift at level 4. I don't know why it's never crossed my mind to use both totems and self casting for SRS at the beginning of a league. Thanks!

...And after moaning about poor SSF drops this just landed for me. :D
That's so awesome. Good for you! Save your cash now ;-). Time for a 5+ link. I'm not sure how the crafting works for that yet... I'll likely start playing in two nights. :-(

Hi there, just loving betrayal and wanted to give some easy 1 handed early leveling advice.
While you are just starting out, I found a very powerful one handed support for raise zombies.
This would be early leveling as soon as you can get them and makes the loot hunt effortless. I am pretty sure LV5 you can have both.
I have linked explosive trap to summon phantasm on kill support and I am truly one handing!!!
Makes the hunt for essentials in this build a breeze, no mana issues at all.
Seems to be a great support for zombies while they are growing up.
So I have summon zombies mid mouse and explosive trap right click.
and I hover over health and mana keys while enjoying the scenery.

Just abandon these skills when you gather proper items for this build.
Fills the void until you get the skeletons, then NOT needed.
Will double game speed for sure, if you have a green and blue linked, don't kill yourself to find it, it's just a bonus you're zombies will protect you either way. I have noticed these betrayal missions are tough, reminds me of Delve. Especially transport. It is nice to spam exploding traps on the Betrayal boss!

So lovin this!

Thanks!
I will wear your ghost and you will die twice, against me and for me.
That is some cold blooded shit to say...
Hi. I found ring with this buff https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Aspect_of_the_Avian
what do you think about it?

I think it is awesome and I think you should use it! That's a great find! It's really good. If you play for a while without it, and then you play for a while with it, you'll notice a HUGE difference.

The nice things about having a build with all rare items, is when you find a sweet unique like you or Wozmon did, you can easily incorporate them and not worry about not having enough space for health or resists.

I'd keep the ring :).
