Can ppl stop whining about stat-sticks. Its not like you complained that it was OP when they released it from the start and though that they should have done something else instead.... NO! you just wen with it cause it was OP an dno complaints what so ever, your fucking problem if you dont change your abilitys from time to time to try out other build and not get stuck to 1 build and then cry when it get's nerfed. Ppl played melee build long b4 stat-sticks and was alright sure some buff would be good but it dosent kill melee.
Also saying that now you are forced to a specific unice to play a specifik build, so what? you were kinda forced to a statstick b4 because it was most OP.
I don't think completely removing stat stick option was wise. Maybe you did other changes that we will see today in patch notes but as far as I can say, simply removing option to craft 4 hatreds on stick would be much better option Making it only be craftable 2 mods for 20% max dmg lets say.

I don't play melee that much but I can tell this is kinda RIP melee builds again.

It needed nerf yea, but maybe this is too much :/ we shall see.

Melee is NOT dead!
Double Strike was ment to be a 1 weapon skill (2h or 1h+shield).
Dual Strike was mean to be the alternative for dual wield.

PS: and funny to see all the Parrots *g*.
1 starts with "not for casters" and 100 parrots jump the train :p.

In 3.5.0 we are removing the ability to use stat sticks, through the following changes:

You will no longer be able to use skills that require a specific weapon equipped if you are dual-wielding and one of your equipped weapons is unsuitable for that skill.
Skills that could be used with two weapons, but were main-hand-only when used, now use both weapons when dual wielding.

why the fu*k??? then statstick will be useless u know??? this nerf has no sense, so in 3.5 noone can use stastick for melee since u cannot attack with the 1 hand specific attack..

Sorry but Double Strike clear speed is not okay. You need both Melee Splash and Ancestral Call to have ok clear speed.
But you know how much you have to invest into to be kinda ok with the DPS ??

Let me clearly show you, my one hand + shield build:


If i sell the items, they will worth arround 200 exalted.
My damage with Double Strike, all buffed, with 3 frenzy, 3 endurance and 3 Power charges is 220k. fully buffed.
Damage in Hideout with auras and golem up is 150k.
I also use Watcher eyes for Hatred Crit and as well Red Nightmare Jewel.
They alone worth arround 15exalted.
You realize how many builds can triple my damage on budget build or let`s say 10 exalted investment?

My build is a heavy investment in gear, very solid passive that i thinks for weeks, and damage is pretty medicore, block is okay, armour is 12k(before buffs, but nothing special, and definetely not enough), resist of course are max. I was aiming for Balance between defence and offense, but one hand + shield is simply worst in current game.
Dual Wield was superior in any way, but now they nerf it to the ground, also some of the nerfs will reflect to Shield users as well, and they NEEDED BUFF, not NERF.

If they continue to listen to some cry babies, that this game is too easy and this and this need nerfing i may very well just jump to some MMORPG.
It`s kinda the same with money invesment in the game.
I`m sorry but, not everyone could invest 12 hours daily into this game.



But we are not in the beta anymore. They should think first before add items/mechanics and so, not when so many people spend heavy on certain items, and they nerf the entire builds to the grounds.
Balancing should be done carefully and as i said this is not a beta, you can`t make so many and big changes to the game, when it`s fully released before 5 year ...
They should juist adjust minor things, not complete change the direction of the game.
I like to play leagues, but not every 3 months i like to stay with my characters and develop them. And right now GGG only thinks about leagues.
Standart is last when they look at balance, content and so on.

Definetely not happy.
