Betrayal Challenge Rewards and Hideout Migration Information

The aura and cloak both look alright.

The real question though is... How many "Mash your face against the RNG wall" challenges will there be? It's bad enough with the sneaky hypergrind (30 complete Elder spawn cycles? 300 Vaal'd maps?) but the worst part has been the challenges that relied on "nested RNG," such as praying for the CORRECT corruption results from the Atzoatl altars in Incursion, or actually managing to get Aul to spawn several times to get all the challenges or finding all those Delve encounters.

Challenges are supposed to be about forcing players to leave their comfort zone, NOT just mindlessly mashing the same content over and over when it's trivial.

Like, it'd be much better to, instead of the arbitrary "run a crapload of maps" challenge that gets re-badged every season, to have "complete every map on the Atlas." This is actually HARDER, but not as mind-numbing.

I'll be brutally honest: the difficulty it took me to get that 40/40 in Incursion, and with how the grind gets WORSE every league, was one the main reason I skipped Delve entirely. (alongside concerns that proved well-founded about the balance on grinding resources)

I either go 40/40 or I don't play at all. And yes, it's definitely been a trend of increasing time needed to get all challenges, as evidenced by the increasing level of my sole character per league; hitting 90 used to be one of the last challenges to hit, now it's one of the first, and I had to reach -97- without even trying in Incursion. And if this continues, I might become a Standard-only player.

Incursion 40/40 was a joke. Delve 40/40 was eye stabbing my bad compared to it.

I'm starting believe leveling the playing field isn't possible. No matter what you do you're gonna favor some over others, be it players, behaviors, learning styles, or even LIFE styles.

This is a plainly ridiculous standard to work with. You could apply the very same logic to real life as well. That kind of perfectly equality is only possible with perfect similarity i.e. by replacing the entire human population (or PoE population in this case) with clones and giving them all the exact same life circumstances. No one wants that, and no one can deliver that anyway, hence we simply ignore that possibility. That doesn't mean we simply toss out the logic of a fair playing field in ways we can control and appreciate. You're committing the classic fallacy of the perfect being the enemy of the good, and using it to justify moving even further away from said good.
The challenge rewards look awesome. Definitely will aim for 36 challenges.

Betrayal Hype! :-)

Anybody knows the Ranger Body Armour at 0:10?

The same logic absolutely applies to real life, but irl we admit efforts to improve things are usually imperfect. Not so with p2w here.

Here, players seem to pretend that so long as we can't buy exa from GGG's point shop the entire effort's goal is achieved. When it clearly isn't. (Or can't ever be.)

I'm not making any version of a nirvana fallacy. If a qualitatively meaningfully fair playing field is impossible as you say then they should say that. It would cure a lot of disappointment based on false expectations.

Part of why a casino is fun despite the house always winning is them admitting as much right up front. No one should have any illusions when entering a casino.

Put simply, when you goto a casino you know the game is rigged. People here clearly don't know that about poe.

Interestingly the rigging has the same justifications here and there. Keeping the lights on. It's just that somehow we've arrived at a place where GGG has to accede to the community's desire to pretend this is a charity of some sort. Both non-profit and completely egalitarian. Which as you say is a "plainly ridiculous standard." But one people seem to believe not only is possible, but has been achieved, simply because no exa in the shop, no mtx in .com/trade.

So what isn't a plainly ridiculous standard then? I doubt you are making the implied fanboy argument that everything that needs to be done is done or being done. As if GGG is flawless in every way. "What a piece of worke is GGG! how Noble in Reason? how infinite in faculty?" X)

This is why I want honesty and overtness with regard to the issue so that we can as a community decide what we would prefer and what's reasonable to ask for.

Personally I want to see trade democratized and streaming/trading/luck less intensely rewarded. I want a little more determinism. Is that an unfair ask in your opinion?
Too much censorship that you never even see. Totally removed posts and silenced accounts across all communities. https://www.youtube.com/@Innomen
I can feel the mantra right now . . .
AT LAAST!!! Something worth going 36 challenges again. This is a buff!

Talking about hideouts..
Is there a way to create a NPC in the hideout that can sell to others players things you put to sell?

For example, sell in the store a NPC(chest) that contains your itens and the price of that itens.
Any player can join your hideout and take a look at that NPC and buy if they want. Not needing you to trade with that player.

That would be a good way to earn $ from players and would make the game much better.
