Betrayal Challenge Rewards and Hideout Migration Information
I'm not really understand why almost all people so hyped about new rewards.
Looks kinda meh. Not so bad as Harbinger, but... you know... anything not sa bad after... Helmet - weirdo halo, well. It is 12, Ok. Aura effect - "we need MORE goldy and flashy things"! - seriously... And those golden particles. Seems like a out of league theme too... Bloody red-black aura? No? Ok then. Cloak - in general looks fine, but those tentacle-hands - just out of place! Why you cannot just do plain and rich looking cape, without massive ugly attachments? (it is common problem with most your cloaks). People who really love aesthetics - allready got a lot better cloaks from supporter packs. Why you cannot pick something else this time? Not a portal, pet or cloak? For example - 12=Social Frame, 24=HumanPet(assassin-like), 36=HideoutDecoration (something massive), 40= as addition to laggy totem poles something real, small present like clothing with league theme (and make 40/40 harder to do, but also more rewarding, not so many people do that anyway) No? Ok, fine *sad_panda_face* Best rewards was (by my opinion): perandus portal, talisman armour set, essence portal, breach portal, even last delve hole portal had a own style. I'm not fan of mindless hating, but what can i do with that dissapointment feeling on rewards page almost every single league (with some exceptions, ty)? But i must thank GGG for a new hideout system, that just what was needed a long ago.
Aura skins are a thing now? Nice.
Now we need the old aura effects as mtx.
So how will the decorations be available from now on? Like the stuff that Tora, Catarina, Vagan etc. sell since they "misteriously disappear" in the update, will they just be sold by Niko, Zana, Einhar and Alva then? I could imagine Einhar selling Catarina and Tora's stuff since he's sort of an animal/necromancy-type of guy, but the others?

" Dude, you understand that there'll always be people like you around here? And I understand that its your opinion but judging by your suggestions, its pretty weak opinion.Who cares about social frames so much anyway?Human pet at 24? and even a HIDEOUT DECORATION at 36? are those supposed to be some kind of jokes, because if you're serious, you should really keep your opinions to yourself and preferably not sharing them. |
|
" It was examples dude, not opinions. I wanted to say - GGG may use other reward types. Thats it. Ah, and i'm need to ask you for permission to share my thoughts? Well, now thats a joke )

Are unspent points lost on the end of the season?

" Obviously. That's precisely why I'm asking about the logic behind demonizing it. " Exactly. Yet, a talent for trade is obviously a real world skill. Tons of other real world advantages carry over and no one cares. Like the ability to afford an amazing machine, or tons of free time for example. I'm probing the community for its logic (if any) on why the disparity of reaction. " See above. " That's my read as well. I'm starting believe leveling the playing field isn't possible. No matter what you do you're gonna favor some over others, be it players, behaviors, learning styles, or even LIFE styles. I feel like this is something the community processes without awareness, thus my comments about it. I like understanding what's going on under the hood so to speak. My read is that hatred of pay to win is an effort to filter real world classism out of the online game world, which is a laudable goal, but if that is the goal, then steps in other areas need to be taken as well, not least of which them explicitly stating that. As opposed to pretending the problem is entirely solved merely by prohibiting narrow types of rmt. Because it seems to me the very opposite is occurring in all contexts Except overt real money trade. And it seems like the community is accepting the implicit argument that so long as I can't legally buy exa orbs with dollars, everything is 100% fair and I just can't possibly agree since that's objectively not true. Being a streamer requires significant real world cash investment, and being a streamer is obviously a massive advantage in-game. So long as those things are true, real world class advantage absolutely is objectively carrying over. As I say often, this place is a casino and casinos naturally want whales and high rollers. Perhaps GGG is exploring just how pay to win a game can be without setting off our traditional pay to win detectors? If so pay stash tabs would be the entry level super primitive effort in that direction. Or put another way maybe it's about a determining exactly how much pay to win we'll accept before actually denouncing the game as pay to win. Since as many others have pointed out, stash tabs are objectively "somewhat" pay to win, establishing that the label is non-binary, and that some degree of it is acceptable. This is brilliantly complicated by the fact that pay tabs are the only real way to access the trade system which everyone realizes is pay to win, but only with in-game currency. Just curious is all. I feel like I understand the big picture well enough, I'm just checking out the specific mechanisms now. Too much censorship that you never even see. Totally removed posts and silenced accounts across all communities. https://www.youtube.com/@Innomen Last edited by Innomen on Dec 3, 2018, 12:08:10 PM

Nice aura.... Hype!

Everything is great, but earlier i've heard that Forsaken Masters will disappear - what does do to crafting benches? What will happen with them. I hope they will not disappear because many players keep there their items as extra one item storage for EVERY CHARACTER. If my crafting benches will not disappear, will they be available for NEW PLAYERS? What will they have to do to acquire them? Can we still craft with them and what if someone have not fully upgraded masters and their benches? So many questions...
This is really important matter, because ALL PLAYERS CAN INREVERSIBLE LOST THEIR LOOT. |
