In that case - the only solution is to just play the the league to get the new tabs unless they come up with something else.

Bro... Let's do a thought experiment. Let's assume I'm a Standard league only player...

I started poe during delve 3.4, but i played only in standard. I bought a map tab to help organize my maps, and I put all my maps in my shiny new map tab.

In about 8 days and 8 hours, a new expansion - 3.5 - will launch.

AFter that launch, I continue playing PoE in standard.

I run a map. I get a couple of map drops, which I take to my stash to stick in my map tab... but WTF??? my new maps won't go into my map tab... Why? Because that tab is set for 3.4 content maps only. It is the ONLY map tab i have... What can I do with the new 3.5 maps i just got????

I have only 2 options... I can take all the 3.4 maps out of my map tab, figure out somewhere else to put them or dump them or sell them, and reset the tab for 3.5, then put my 3.5 maps in it. ----OR---- I can keep my 3.4 maps in my original map tab, and buy a brand new empty map tab to start keeping my 3.5 maps in.

THOSE ARE MY ONLY CURRENT OPTIONS. It doesn't matter how many temp league characters I start, that will never get me a fresh EMPTY tab in standard for 3.5 maps that drop IN STANDARD, all it will get me is a series of 'remove only' tabs that I can't put standard dropped maps in.

Please tell me that you now understand the problem.......
