Map stash is a issue for standard players.
We have to remove the old maps from the stash to be able to fill it with 3.5 maps.
Since people have alot of maps its a pain to remove/sell them. YOu basically throw currency away (even if its just a T2 map)
The other problem is, that even old maps from the same Tier (guardian maps as example) cant be placed in the 3.5 map stash.
Unless we get 2 seperate map stash "new" and "old" its alot of work for players to clear the stash out

I was talking about standard - as soon as a league ends - everything is migrated to standard
So your 3.4 Tab will become Remove Only in standard
Your 3.3 Tab is also remove only (separate)
3.2 Tab is also remove only (separate)

They don't get removed - like your normal stash tabs don't get removed - they are migrated and set to "remove only".
It's your coice to take out all the maps from them. You can just play from remove only tabs until you run out of old maps - as none of the old ones will drop anymore.
No new tabs needed..
EDIT for clarity - I have 3 different Remove Only Map Tabs in Standard One for each different atlas type - only ever purchasing one. It's true that I can't add any maps to them - but that's because none of the old maps will ever drop again.

The only problem is for people who actually play PoE in standard. They will have one 'live' map tab with old maps in it, from whatever atlas version, doesn't matter. Any other instances they have in standard will be 'remove only' versions with other old atlas version maps.
The only way that standard player would be able to have a map tab for the new 3.5 atlas maps would be A) empty the old version maps from their 'live' map tab, or B) purchase another 'live' map tab to use for the new 3.5 maps they'll be getting.
If I was ever to play standard, I would just dump all the maps from the 'live' map tab in my standard stash...why would anybody care about saving them? Maybe put the red tier/unique maps from their stash in a regular tab if they felt nostalgic about them, and dump the rest.
Personally, i've been playing since Essence league and have never gone anywhere in standard except for my hideout to dump junk from old tabs, and I never plan to.

If you're talking about the Standard tab you're playing from now - it's a 3.4 tab. When the new atlas version comes in - this should then become Remove Only and you get a normal map tab to use in Standard. same
The current one will become remove only once the league ends as it's a version change I believe.
Same with passive reset. You get one everytime the passive tree changes
EDIT for clarity: 3.4 is the game version - not the league.

From previous atlas versions - 3.4 tab (even in standard) would give you a "free" reset when it moves to a new version of the atlas.
What I have is 2 tabs currently in standard.
One for the old version of the atlas as remove only and one live one with only 3.4 maps.
My 2 tabs will now become 3 tabs when the game is 3.5
I'm not at home - so can't send a screenshot atm of my 2 tabs.. that would be helpful
Could be wrong though - so might be worth asking GGG ather than endlesly ranting..haha
