How Atlas Objectives Work

So horrible rng streaks will determine if you get your "daily" quests or not.

Just as Zana missions got so much better as well. Even with crappy rng you could do T10 missions and buy a T11 map from her once per day.
There will be a fishing rod with 'increased quantity of scarabs caught'

This Atlas Objectives system is designed to reward both players who consistently play every day, but also players who just play a lot of Path of Exile.

looks like i won't play this league then.

i thought you realised that forcing players to login daily is a rather bad motivator to play the game.

.. so what did u expect? rewarding people for NOT logging in daily?
It really doesnt hurt your gameplay in any way if you do not log in daily tho.
nice can't wait to see what scarab actualy do !!

So again, the rich get richer, and you design systems for people who don't have jobs and families.

So people that play more shouldn't have the opportunity to engage in more content than people who don't? Seriously? That's not how gaming works.

Agree with you...

I have a job, a family (like 99% of players isnt it ?) but I do not forget that PoE is a "hardcore gamers" game, designed by and for hardcore gamers.
Not everyone keep this in mind, especially in comments...

Please tell me that it will be in Standard also!
"War's over, soldier. You just don't know it yet. Everybody lost."
Hm, why is there a red map outside the red map circle, without the shaped border?

Also, there are five masters: Einhar, Alva, Niko, Zana, and Jul; but there are six different atlas objective icons. What are we missing?
Maybe I'm wrong and misread something, but it sounds like "we added another way to make you run more maps you hate". Not a fan of this. Strongholds are fine, because they make me run maps I forget that aren't so bad occasionally, but they're relatively rare. Masters will be the next league's focus and I suspect we'll want to grind them for challenges and decorations. I hope this will be an enjoyable grind...
The Bother progress: 11%

You don't even imagine how much harm you've caused. I'm not sure I'll live long enough to finish "The Bother". You're one of my murderers. You will never get my forgiveness unless you make up for what you've done.
