if youre new and not sure to buy a stash tab on sale, i can recommend the currency tab, its most worthful in my opinion

It's not as simple a topic as you make it out to be, and this is not the greatest place to discuss this at length. So the short answer is:

- People complain about PoE. People buy MTX. Nothing new there.
- Players and critics alike tear EA to shreds. Regularly.
- GGG* is not a "fairly small dev". Not anymore.
- There are different kinds of MTX in F2P games. Some are more annoying than others. Some are just fluff, while some others are damn near mandatory. Some of them are shortcuts, while some of them are completely locked out unless you pay. etc. People's reactions to these will greatly differ.
