Err...what makes you so sure AoE, CoC and density were nerfed for consoles? What if they simply decided they were unbalanced? Are you going to accuse them of nerfing statsticks for consoles too, if they do that next?

Also, PoE's engine was made way back in the 2000s on a shoestring budget. And games simply don't overhaul their engines. That is in no way a comparable task to porting for consoles, and breaks a whole lot more than a few questionable accusations of balance choices. In terms of optimizing their engine, they have been doing that (you can find the relevant news posts with Google). And ironically, some of that can actually be reasonably attributed to their plans for console releases.

Yep.
The game engine is outdated, game looks like shit, animation is trash, and they are doing ps4 version instead of any improvements. What a waste of resources. Useless announcement. Actually, both today and yestarday announcement are absolute joke.
Really I'm thinking of stopping supporting this guys.
