{3.10} Speaker for the Dead | The Mass Minion Summoner | League Starter, Leveling Guide 💀

" If it's because of mana cost, deactivate an aura until you can raise everything. An Enduring mana flask is good to have on-hand to quickly raise Zombies when you first log in. @ Hologram_o:

" " Nice! Do you mind if I include it in the guide? For comparison, here's Dashbb's UE kill video using the Cold Triad variant I've been developing in Blight. Now, is it just me or does it feel like GGG stealth-nerfed Virulence by increasing its decay rate at some point? I'd have to compare two videos frame by frame to find out. @ hugomaestrelo & Hologram_o:

" " " You can look at my Hegemon_of_the_Dead character in Blight League. She deals great damage. The regular 3.8 build with Cyclone has less damage but better recovery, so it's generally safer but not as fast. " CwC does not require you to hit with Cyclone. If you hold your mouse close enough to your character you can even stand still while using Cyclone to channel-cast Ball Lightning from a distance. Fortify is another matter. @ Kirian42:

" " They shouldn't have any trouble. What is probably happening is when you get too far away (1.5-2 screens) they despawn. So during a Blight it's best to sit still as centrally as possible and let your Skeletons offscreen in all directions. Once you start favoring one direction the others are likely to get despawned. I highly recommend Melee Splash for Skeletons. You can swap it out for a red DPS gem against Uber Elder as needed (or get white sockets on helm using Vorici reward in Syndicate Research), but otherwise I just leave Melee Splash in. " Yes. @ thegamingkage: " Original (with HoA): It'll still work, but many of the decisions behind the build were based on the state of the game in Delve 3.4. Zombies were weaker but required for phys reduction. Few support gems could match Bloodlust (59%) and Vile Toxins (50%). Cyclone was not a channeled skill. Accuracy was rarer and increased the value of level-stacking. Herald of Agony was one of the strongest minions if you could manage it. 3.8 Update Build: Zombies are not only stronger but far, far tougher, enabling them to take over the support DPS role of the Agony Crawler. There are more support options for Skeletons now, and with their dramatically increased mobility there's more occasions to use them, making Melee Splash more important, too. Cyclone is channeled, giving us phasing, stun immunity, and active mobility unlike Charged Dash. Accuracy is not only more common but also much easier to achieve 100% chance to hit. Herald of Agony is still pretty strong, but Zombies have closed the gap. Skitterbots give us an incentive to free up mana, turning the opportunity costs for HoA sour. Too much was built around HoA, and it started to hold the build back. Cold Triad Grip: Trades the benefits of CwC Ball Lightning (On-Hit recovery and EE while mapping) or CwC Spirit Offering (constant and reliable ES recovery) for a focus on damage. The required 4L green sockets, with few options, end up devoted to mobility skills. Since we're no longer cycloning, we end up with a rather fleet-footed build on top of the damage. We still have CWDT Spirit Offering, so we're still extremely tanky in certain situations. We also still have a relatively high eHP. We just lack the same recovery and instead must depend on traditional flask recovery and good-ol'-fashioned Don't-Get-Hit circle-strafing. If you want to zip through any content and don't mind an occasional death from reckless speed, go Cold Triad. If you're aiming for Level 100, use the Updated build with CwC Spirit Offering. If you're nostalgic, or just like HoA, the Original can still beat Uber Elder. Sidenote: I haven't updated the passive tree for the Original, so you'd have to decide whether you want any of those new minion clusters or not. @ Denali907:

" " Your Empower is too weak right now. You only want to use it when it provides 4-6 levels. Use Minion Damage instead. Quality on Hatred will boost its range, which is good for keeping your minions under its umbrella. Quality on GMP and Faster Proj will give 20% attack/cast speed. Definitely worth it. Eventually upgrade to an ES body armour with an open prefix, so you can craft 10% of Life as Extra ES. It's worth ~1k ES by itself. Amulet and rings could be better. Boots lack life and don't have the best movement speed. You want as much flat life as you can get. Last edited by Hercanic#3982 on Oct 22, 2019, 5:27:01 PM

I'm really confused on what I'm supposed to get next, its the first time i kill the elder(deathless!). I have 620 chaos to get better gear, any idea? I killed a shaper guardian too but i died 5 times , and thats why im questioning my gear. |

Hello!
Quick question: Elemental Weaknes + Blasphemy + what? Or Skitterbots + what + what? |
|
This is the first time I've actually had genuine fun playing and progressing through a build so thanks for that.
If swapping from Cyclone/Ball Lightning (with Avatar of Fire) to Green Triad can we still keep Slave Drivers? If not, should I just go back to all Frosts? Is it worth it to keep Skeles supported with Melee Splash given my weapon providing Melee Splash to my zombies? I assume it's fine for Blighted maps but Melee Physical should be better for mapping/bosses or better regardless? Are there some worthwhile changes or upgrades I can make? (No luck on a decent Regalia) I haven't had any issues with survivability but I have some exa to spare for some minor upgrades. |
|
So which is the updated tree guys?
https://pastebin.com/1dYHDZK4 this or which one?? Also no mechanics to add poison to squeeze in HoA? :) |

@BassWasTaken
If you want to use Slave Drivers with 4green Triad Grip - no problems there, if you use fire dmg or Avatar of Fire to trigger EE. I use Skellies only on Blight maps and Bosses. They do great damage even without Melee Splas even on t15 Blight. In addition i think that EE doesn't needed ultimately and i don't like Cyclone-Ball Lightning mechanics, i've changed some skills. So i just run through mob packs and my minions do the job.

I'm at level 90 and following your build for 3.8 but I'm confused. Which skills do i equip from the skills and paste-bin has too many skills for each equipment piece so I am going off the equipment you have listed here with the skills in them. Is that right?
Help! |

@XxARMOxX
just open Hercanic's profile and look at Hegemon_Of_The_Dead character :) Or look at mine SingRock, thou i use Slave Drivers instead of Frost Sentinels. |
