[3.10] OneShotKill Elemental Hit Ballista Hiero - 9.6 million DPS - EZ Boss Killer + budget friendly
" Hi there, Thanks for the feedback! I took a look at both POB again. The original one does have about 9k+ Evasion and it seems like my POB actually has about 6k Evasion. It shows 2k because I had not "Turned on" Grace Aura(Oops my bad!) on my POB. Will make the necessary updates in a bit. That said, 6k evasion is still lesser than 9k evasion and if one wishes to go for more Evasion, I can recommend the following changes - Don't go for the Farsight Notable, which saves us 4 Passive Points. - Invest the 4 Passive Points into Survivalist Notable and Cloth and Chain Notable With this change, we will be at about 8.5k evasion, plus get some nice defensive stuffs like +3% Additional Evasion(From Survivalist), +26% all resist and +1% Maximum Cold Resist. Here's a POB Pastebin with the above change

With this change, DPS went down to about 917k, but once the Ballista Totem Gem is updated to 3.10, it should go back to around 1m DPS. " With my recommended changes, we no longer uses Chin Sol/Point Blank and thus there is no need to stand at close range to the enemy. Playing at range, with 6k+ life and decent evasion + dodge(From Acrobatics, Phase Acrobatics, Vaal Grace), it's definitely pretty safe. The other thing is we get 1% Life Regen per Totem summoned(From Hierophant's Ritual of Awakening), so with 7 Totems up, we get 7% Life Regen constantly which definitely helps as we dance around the boss ;) My 3.15 take/update to Lunasicc187's OneShotKill Elemental Hit Hierophant Guide https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3005581 Last edited by Vei on Mar 13, 2020, 2:06:50 AM

@Vei
How do you recommend leveling this ? The skill tree changed alot since the original version.
" You are welcome, Enjoy! :) " Hi, I am not sure which "leveling" you are referring to 1. If you are referring on how to go about progressing the Skill Tree, you can refer on my writeup at Page 173, look for "09. Passive Tree Progression" section. 2. If you are referring to using what skill to level from the start, what I personally will do is use Holy Flame Totem to level until 60 then switch to Elemental Hit when I get Frostferno, the 2 Combat Focus Jewel and Rain of Splinter Jewel. Leveling with Holy Flame Totem Here's a rough overview/draft of how I will be leveling with the Holy Flame Totem
Spoiler
Level 1 to 4 - Twilight Strand - Pick up and use Glacier Hammer, link to Ele Proliferation when we get it from the shining box. - Lioneye's Watch - Take the Molten Strike Gem reward from Tarkleigh, link it to Ele Proliferation and use it until level 4. Level 4 to Level 40+ When we complete the Act 1 "Breaking Some Eggs" quest, we will get Holy Flame Totem as the reward and can start using when we are Level 4. I will link Holy Flame Totem this way as we get the gems and required links on our equipment (In order from Top to bottom) 1) Holy Flame Totem 2) Summon Phantasm 3) Infused Channelling 4) Combustion or Added Fire Damage (Either is fine) 5) Combustion or Added Fire Damage (Either is fine) Source for Gems - Holy Flame Totem (Available as Reward from Act 1 Breaking Some Eggs) - Summon Phantasm (Can be purchased from Nessa with 1 Scroll of Wisdom after completing Act 1 Mercy Mission) - Infused Channelling (Available as Reward from Act 1 Mercy Mission Quest) - Combustion/Added Fire Damage (Both are Available as Reward from Act 1 The Caged Brute Quest, buy the other one from Nessa for 1 Orb of Transmutation if you have a 5 Link Body Armour that can socket the 5th gem) Crafting Fire Damage Wands for DPS boost Along the way, at the following levels, 8/14/20, I will make Fire Damage Wands which provides a significant DPS boost to my Holy Flame Totem DPS. Here's a video you can watch to see how to create the wand and other details. Note that in the video he uses Topaz Ring which is for Lightning Damage, we will instead be using Ruby Ring as we requires Fire Damage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUSltx2INl0 The above should take you to Level 40-50 without much issue. Level 40+ to Level 60 At around Level 40-50, I probably will look for 1. One Handed Weapons with - "Adds # to # Fire Damage to Spells"(Better than the ones we have) or - "+1 to Level of all Fire Spell Skill Gems" to keep up with the DPS. If you are following this, take note of the Int and Dex requirements of the weapon just in case. 2. Some rings with resist to cover the resist we are missing since we get some penalty to our resistance after beating Kitava on Act 5. Along the way from start to Level 60, I will also see if I can buy a Wanderlust Boot as that helps a lot. So yup, that's roughly what I will be doing for the leveling process. Hopefully one(or both) of the above is what you are trying to ask XD My 3.15 take/update to Lunasicc187's OneShotKill Elemental Hit Hierophant Guide

thanks, yes referring to 2.
You need to change your guide: projectile weakness is more dps. I have never used holy flame totem. Lets see how good it is for leveling. Wand recipes i know well. So for more damage i will use two 4 links. 1) Holy Flame Totem - Summon Phantasm - Infused Channelling - combustion 2) Holy Flame Totem - Infused Channeling - combustion - added fire Idea is to use 2) when enough phantasms are up. Will have to check how to craft that amulet for EH, since i didnt play last league ^^ Last edited by Kharadas on Mar 13, 2020, 9:48:39 AM

" I took a look at this, its more DPS versus normal mobs but less DPS versus Bosses. Considering most normal mobs are killed pretty quick/instantly without needing to curse them, I would think Flammability is a better choice in this case. " Holy Flame Totem is definitely not the best/top leveling option, I never really saw much leveling videos recommending it. Among Totem options though, it's definitely one of the top ones. Since we are going for Ancestral Bond keystone and not much other type of Passives(A lot of Str+Dex till 60) so i thought Holy Flame Totem is good choice. I personally also am a Totem person and also like the QOL playing them. Just put them down and they will do everything. Easy life :) " I think that's a good idea if one have the currency for it and don't mind spending to buy the 4L or craft it. Though one might get lucky and have access(From Drop or Purchase) to 5L Body Armour early and that will do both. " I think mbxtreme(Youtube) has a video on crafting double influence items, could take a look there. Will this awesome Vei version of this build be getting it's own thread for 3.10?
Very awkward having to constantly try and find the start of this build in the all pages. I would imagine folks new to the build are looking at the 'incorrect' information for a while. Definitely deserves its own thread and a viable OP.

How about scion version its not better then hiero? Ty

" Thanks guys for your support. With regards to this, let me check with Lunasicc what is his plan and thoughts for this guide going forward. Meanwhile if you bookmark this specific link https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2224772/page/173#p22791192 You can jump straight to my post, tested on Chrome on both my phone and PC. Should make it easier for people returning to check my post. " If you are referring to Lunasicc's Scion Version which is a bit different and utilizes some Unique Jewels, I haven't research that much into it so don't really have any comments. If you are referring to using Scion with my suggested changes, with the changes to the Passive Tree compared to the Original one, it's now much further away from Scion. To convert the Passive Tree for a Scion to use, it's not as efficient/good. Also, with Scion, we will be missing many stuff from the Hierophant Ascendancy - Power charges and Endurance Charges from Placing Totems and Totems killing enemy - 1% Life regen per Totem up which is nice - Placing 2 Totem at once (QOL + less mana used) - Insane Mana Regen with Totems up with the Ritual of Awakening Ascendancy skill which enables us to keep on placing/positioning totems, without the regen, you will need to have a bigger mana pool and can't reserve as much mana. Of course the advantages will be that you can spec into Deadeye(Many nice stuff, +1 proj etc) and Chieftain(Totem Leech Life to you which is very nice) but I think Hierophant works better overall. That said, I did come across a Scion version from a guy called MauraderDH which uses totally different equipment and passive tree that I think looks pretty good but costs much more as you need to craft a 6L Bow with "+3" skill. The Body is also another 6L one which utilizes 3 Curses(My maximum DPS edition idea actually came from looking at this). Here's a Pastebin of it if anyone is interested to look into it more.

In short, instead of Frostferno, Elemental Hit is placed in a "+3" skill Bow for level scaling. Helm is replaced by Crown of the Inward Eye Unique which takes advantage of investing in all the Life and Mana in equipment and Passive Tree as they get converted to Damage also.
