So two questions: best support links? I just bought a empower 4...

Was thinking HoAH of course, empower, Withering Touch, Minion Damage, damage on full life, pierce / Vile Toxins swap.

I heard PoB was updated, but I must be doing something wrong because it says minion dps is like 5k, which is bullcrap. so I'm just guessing what's best...

I feel like EE is worth it as one passive point, just for Hatred w/ Generosity, ( obviously this is out of the question if you don't use generosity) but I am ditching EE's Phys to Lightning idea. I seriously doubt that's a optimal gem link.

On a side note check this out:


Tempest Shield CoH...not a remarkable thing I know, but notice the Brutality. This way Tempest Shield doesn't mess with EE :P


edit: I think I got it. You gotta input virulence stacks.

That was tense lol. Got 3 reds like 8 times, even got 4 reds.


btw, where are you getting another +1 max block from? I'm at 82/82.

You can get up to 83% by using a shield with the +1 corruption.

aaaaaaaand ditched the build. Was fun I guess? Just too slow. Back to Hopeshredder Scion with 7khp and 6 million dps lol

In PoB use in the middle/top section of the configuration tab to select the number of virulence stacks. Also in case you have the jewels with condition be sure to check those too. Also don't forget to check "fire dmg to attacks" if you are doing EE.

I went another route with the build: fire dmg on attacks to proc EE for light and cold: I supported HOA with phys to light, generosity with hatred ... I am at close to 1mil boss/shaper dps with full virulence. I need to tweak the tree a bit as i have too much block but still, I feel immortal in delves. Killed so far 3 bosses, died x2 because ... too much yolo but still. Mapping sadly ain't as fast as I would like but heh, I can watch TV while playing ;)

Hi, i made a similar build as you but some changes.
I was able to do all Bosses (UberElder, UberAtziri, Shaper and Delve Bosses) and all maps including HotG.
The most notable diferent between our builds are the armor and rings and Helm Enchant.



With this Setup i can use HOAg+Determination+Hatred so is pretty safe (Watcher eye with Block and Crit Damage Reduced) and have really good damage.

For UberElder/UberAtziri i use

Hey. I guess that the main choice should be if you want to play it as a "melee tank" or as a "range" character. You'll have better damage mitigation as a gladiator, but you'll also be taking more potential hits as you'll be in melee range. The damage will most likely be somewhat similar.

So i decided to try it out, and so far i really like the build, i can do pretty much all content, even shaper, with real ease. However i have now tried to kill uber Elder 4 times, failed every single time.

Basically im struggling HARD on uber elder, i know its possible, but i dont know wheter its a L2P issue or something i can change in my setup to make it easier.

Overall, very solid build, delving at 400 depth with ease, facetanking shaper guardians with pretty much any mods.
