Delve top 5 over powerful and popular builds to delve deep
" Yeah, if you gather sulphite while in a group you should lose your solo ladder progression. Makes sense to me. I'm a little disheartened by this loophole. Finally thought we could all compete on an even playing field for once (without the brutality of SSF). Guess not. Cheapens the accomplishment in my eyes but w/e. Funny part is, in Delve they are very much appart from depts, the top 10.
whereas in SSF delve, the are very much near eachother in terms of dept in the top 10.. Man if only i had friends and 12 hrs per day time... |

" Hey, you just need to train your brain not to completely shut down while surviving on 4 hours sleep with a 9 to 5 job for a week or so. It's not good for you in the long run, but boy does it feel good to fit in those extra hours at launch. *Laughs in sleep deprivation* Souls along a conduit of blood, from one vessel to the next.

What builds are good for exploring the dark and farming fossils. Went BV elementalist as a league starter but it feels really weak going off the main path. Was thinking RF as you don't need to worry about attacking but wonder how it's sustain is for the darkness degen.

bump :/
any new build came out? |

" BV ele is fine for darkness diving, you just need to shield charge/flamedash through everything, throw a flare at the end of each side path, gather/kill, and zoom back to the main path, rinse and repeat. " Right now, the #1 build appears to be an aura bot using smite, so that might be an interesting choice for solo delving Last edited by Zietlogik#0393 on Sep 11, 2018, 1:02:29 PM

" I was playing this morning and noticed that there was the Quant guy at 1337 but also showed another player in the announcements that was at SOLO 886-ish? Have they split this up now to show Group VS Solo? ~ I have selective hearing, and today, you have not been selected.

" Can you tell me more about that? " yes they did |

" But isn't this only an issue because the delve leaderboards track time played instead of character strength? Getting free sulphite from a friend doesn't make your character more powerful in the mines, it just reduces the amount of time it takes to get to your "limiting" depth. If anything, the fact that this loophole exists just goes to the show that the current leaderboards are completely meaningless anyway - you don't demonstrate anything by being rank #1 except the ability to mindlessly grind for longer. I don't think we can take the current leaderboards as the basis of any meaningful distinction between builds whatsoever. What you're essentially doing is asking "who can stomach the sulphite grind the longest?" and then listing what builds they happened to decide to play this league. " To be honest, this is sort of what I expected - since as far as we can tell, monsters don't gain HP and there's no timer on them, there's no reason a high solo clearing character even needs to deal damage. A nigh-invulnerable tank character would fare better in the solo mines than a DPS build. Sure, it might take longer to clear the encounter, but "not dying" is the only requirement here - and the only thing that seems to scale in the mines is that monsters start one-shotting you if you let them hit you. Actually the one build I expect to be the absolute best overall is the 100% immune flaskfinder. (Immunity to everything) Last edited by nandchan#7735 on Sep 12, 2018, 3:15:33 AM
