Path of Exile: Delve Patch Notes

So path of unnecessary nerfs as we already knew. At least my other build which was already far stronger than traps anyway gained 10% damage so I guess I will still play this league.

There is only one good thing this league (well, maybe 2 if you want to do poison bow although right now I'm not holding my breath for it) which is Zana's new map mod to change a map into a random of the same tier.

So does this mean ALL shimmerons, including the "legacy" ones will be affected by the "your skills" change or will it only affect new items?

Because in the first case, we would need to divine our perfectly rolled shimmerons just so the damage we receive will be 50%.
Is that correct??

If so, can´t you AT LEAST change all shimmerons without the need to divine them first so we keep the max rolls on our already well divined items?


EDIT: By the way, Shimmerons were one of only very few "chase" items that made elder farming worth it. The way they look now just render them almost useless, just like any other item the elder drops. Except the watcher´s eyes.

Another part of the endgame goes down the drain.

If you want to use herald of purity, then that would seem to lean you towards guardian (I have no real concept of how strong sentinel of purity will turn out to be), but for straight up dominating blow the necro bonuses seem better.

Could "Level 4: Alternate of Same Tier (Costs 1 Chaos Orb): Requires a Rare map. Opens a random Rare map of the same tier, excluding the map you placed in the device." be triggered by "Fortune Favours the Brave"? That would suck bad.

Now when you hit an enemy with Static Strike, you will gain a buff which causes you to frequently hit nearby enemies with beams, dealing attack damage. Hrm, that's an interesting idea.

Still arc / lighting warp poet probably still faster (and don't need 400 strength), if a bit more epilepsy inducing.

Shield charge better clear speed with Mjolner arc.
Especially with the way shield charge is being reworked in this patch.
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

The changes in the Templar skill tree are good, so due to the updated POB I have 4 more free skill points (and I can chose "Elemental Overload" for my 3 "flame blast" totems), but I lose one zombie (6 instead of 7), cause the (other) "+1 to maximal number of zombies" are too far away...
Now my juggernaut max block tank with aegis now have around 30% spell block instead of 73 with same shit dps. Thank you. This game coming to be some weird mess for casual players.
