Is bow + quiver superior to 2h mace? from the top of my head i dont know which affixes u can get as BiS on bow/mace.

also do u have any special quiver in mind? or just a life/resi slot (which would be amazing aswell tbh)

Yep, check out the guide it's up to date now. I'm trying to find a Maloney's in standard to buy so that I can link it but no one is responding.


So we use CWC - Scourge Arrow - Desecrate - Flesh Offering

This gives us auto-cast flesh offering and will proc EE if we have any added fire/lightning damage on gear. Then Maloney's will proc, auto-firing frenzy-gmp-maim

This essentially gives us a free level 20 maim support effect, makes our flesh offering uptime always on, and provides frenzy charges for phase run.

I'm not OP, but bows would hit all of the mods that we want/need and allow us to have a quiver. Off the top of my head I'm not sure what other advantages could come from other weapon types, something like a CWC staff would provide no benefit here.

Looks like OP is playing around with using https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Maloney%27s_Mechanism and using it to provide maim and bleed for our golems (possibly using bloodlust). There are alternatives, Soul Strike with Wicked Ward would be very good with enough ES, or just use a rare as a defensive stat stick.

Nope, Demi already showcased this style in effect. Lael evolved the ice golem build but his version uses way too many buttons. I'm working on getting his phase acro tree into the guide now. You'll be focusing on evasion tanking + very high regen while the added damage melts everything.

The adaptation's we're making to it are bringing it back to it's one button roots. His setup uses way too many buttons and misses the easy Maloney's add.

(Ignore his damage numbers in PoB, he's cheating them using shock misconfiguration and a synthesis bow) When you compare like to like The scourge arrow setup provides more damage and uses fewer aps

He said in the video that it is kinda squishy :)

I think new players will die more often to bosses, with low EHP.

How do you proc the Maloney's Mechanism gems?

They say on bow attack but I don't think the golems count as a bow attack since we summon them and forget.

Unless I am missing something.

Gloves are using scourge arrow + CWC + Desecrate + Flesh Offering

Maloney's would be triggered by a bow skill. OP is suggesting to use Scourge arrow CWC desecrate offering, with frenzy gmp main in maloney's.

PoB doesn't support the new gems yet but the math on Impale Support looks really good. With Precision Aura granting the accuracy we need we may be running Dread Banner + Impale support. Keep on eye on my character as the league goes along, i'll be playing around with different support gems. If I end up as Flesh and Stone Pride Brutality Impale golems i'll let everyone know!

Another green support gem would be very welcome while we try to color our bow as well.
