Herald of Purity Skill Reveal

Now we need a Herald Of Impurity to make the full set hahaha

Are they actively trying to make me do a dom blow guardian next league?

Thoughts that came in mind regarding the new Herald of Purity;


Good:

+ Physical Herald, hopefully helps at least a bit for phys damage builds
+ More minions for summoner-builds, probably can make even new type of build
+ Chaos Herald coming next?


Bad:

- Sentinels look awfully slow
- Minion AI is not the best
- Non-minion related phys/conversion builds probably don't even want the Sentinels, which are perfect for chain targets --> Lunaris Pantheon with upgrades becomes a must to use in high level content


Think the Herald would work better, if instead giving Sentinel minions, it summons un-targetable Sentinel/Guardian type of spectre which circles around the player and attacks enemies who get close enough of them. How it gets summoned can stay the same, along with the time refreshed so you can still feel it being useful be it clearing packs or fighting against a boss.

Looks useful for a melee Necro as well.
I would use nodes which boosts general minion stats like:
Commander of Darkness
Puppet Master
Invoker
Mistress of Sacrifice

We need the actual skill gem to see how it scales.
Do the Sentinels scale like normal minions with their own damage stats or is their damage linked to the players weapon damage.

Would simply use it for the added phys alone. The minions seem ehhh to me.

I am somehow dissapointed that physical herald skill is actually minion skill.

If you want supporter class to be more popular how about create content which actually promote party play and specialization in certain roles. Current direction of the game is exact opposite. It would be nice if the game could offer more of the roleplaying and tactical approach rather than speedtarding.

Not really feeling the upcoming guardian changes , no more ES builds? :(
