Hi all, interesting looking build.

I have few questions, is the teleporting non stop annoying or enjoyable? Watching the videos, it doesn't look too enjoyable.

Secondly, will this build function OK as a league starter using just two poet pets, or are four pens needed for killing bosses? I.E will two pens get me up to T6 maps without too much issues or will my single target be dreadful?

Any tips as a leveling guide?

Haha, no - it isn't annoying at all. Even without trying to make it sound better I am very confident that this is the most fun part of the build - It is so quick and fluid that once you did try it you do not want to go back to any kind of build that needs to stop moving to attack. :D This is *so* much fun.

Your second question got answered in detail on the previous page. 2 Pens is totally fine - I would also start out to level with a quicksilver flask and the arc/ball lightning 'boss' setup till the support gems for Lightning Warp are leveled/qualitied up. Without that Lightning warp feels a bit clunky - even though GGG buffed low level Lightning Warp a bit this patch to address that issue while leveling the skill.

t6 maps? I am kinda confident that you can do at least low level red maps with just two pens and gear you pick up on your way. In the videos you can see me do a t12 map with negative resists and all that - its the one with MF Gear. You might not be able to tank the twinned Boss Wolf-Vomit like I did in the video with rare gear and need to play the boss a bit, but I think it will work very well.

As mentioned before a streamer did play this build as a league starter last league.
UberElder got killed by this build without the SpiderAuraGear as you can see above. This is a solid Build.
Excited to try this build!

On a totally different topic, anyone have a highly active guild that I could join? :D

Also the SpiderBoots are back in the Game with Delve via Devination Cards.

But you have to mention that you have to get the Gloves(?) aswell for the Aspect (or am I wrong?).

Tbh I'd have prefered if they reintroduced the bestiary items with a prophecy chain where the last is a lair with one of the Bestiary-Bosses as encounter and a small enchant possibility (like in uber lab) to enchant the Aspect on an item. But that's not for here...

Yeah, I would have liked that a lot more too. Tbh I think Bestiary was *way* better then its reputation. The Bestiary was useful from start to end - people didnt like it though because they had no 'rain of loot' - mechanic. NVM that the 'rain of loot' from incursion drops mostly crap. But alas.

Anyhow! On topic: Yeah, need to get the gloves too for the aspect aura. Not sure if thats worth it - Its more defensive for sure - no matter how you gear though the build has done ÜberElder either way. So I guess it depends a bit on testing in delve and on personal taste. *shrugs*

Anyhow! Have fun in the league! :)

I don't have a guild - I think I will not play during delve at all. User YT_HB probably will - so he might be person to ask questions during the league when I am not available/unable to respond.

I hope you will find a guild to mooch off the gear you need. :P

A million DPS is pretty low though in this day and age? What makes the build strong for single target please?

A million is just from arc. Double that again from Ball Lightning. And thats the cheap version without an Indigon - which doubles those numbers again.

So fully kitted out you look at ~2.5Mio from arc and around 5Mio from Ball Lightning.

7.5Mio DPS is pretty strong single target, pretty please. :)
Hey I'm still new to this game (started about 3 weeks ago), I've been using the regular "teleport behind you" build and I'm going to go for this build in delve. What exactly is the point of those enlighten support gems in those slots?

They reduce the upkeep/manareservation of skills that are active all the time - like auras and buffs such as Herald of Thunder or Arctic Armor. Essentially they allow us to use more buff sand auras.

The Enlighten Support gems are used to reduce the amount of mana reserved of the linked auras/spells.

Ah gotcha, thanks. Another thing, would barrage work better over frenzy? In the other build I primarily used barrage for the life gain on hit (which would be ES in this case).

There is no ES on hit Support Gem in the game to support Barrage. You can still use it once you get Watchers Eye/Spiderboots. Its comperativly less effective though. In the Life based build it was your only source of instant life gain - here you gain ES from all hits - those from spells (ball lightning!!!) included.

I found Frenzy overall stronger since it eases requirements for a long link in regards to attackspeed + Frenzy Charges give 4% 'more' damage per charge. Thats quite a lot of damage you miss out on.

YT_HB experimented around with that iirc - he states that he would prefer Frenzy too for the reasons I listed. But maybe he can chime in on that topic in a bit more detail! :)
