So I think I found a more than decent compromise between survivability and damage and everything seems to run smooth so far.





Getting 3k3 pure leech per second thanks to VP. Getting about 8k2 total ES with an average 483k arc hit damage against shaper.

Would love getting a 3rd curse such as enfeeble but I can't reach the 4.25 minimum APS (without sacrificing too much important stuff) that corresponds to my CDR given with boots. The best option seems to take an extra frenzy charge for 3 SP but it means I have to sacrifice 3 ES nodes and a jewel socket for example or just not running an aura and use blasphemy. Will try to tweak some stuff to maybe find a solution.

Sitting on 7.1k ES atm so don't think I should swap to forbidden power.

At the moment I'm thinking next on my agenda is a 15% pen wise oak and then two poets pens, I have a white socket so I can swap to a ball lightning setup in my second pen but its clunky.

Hmm, I tried running the same set up as you on the helm and gloves but for some reason I kept being low on HP and couldn't dual cast Discipline and Purity of Elements :( and noticed both of us using Enlighten Lv 3 . Work around was swap my voidbringer gloves from Spell % to +1 socketed gems till I could afford lv 4 enlighten but you got the set up working with Lv3 enlighten

I'm loving the discussion around new build variations possible with rares now, interesting stuff thanks guys. I like the idea of running an ES helm especially, I don't see any benefit to vertex(price is great ofc) outside of the +1 level to gems which is nice but not too important with level 4 enlightens(maybe I'm missing something).

If you're not keen on an indigon build(which I'm not) It just seems to make much more sense to run a rare helm once you get level 4 enlightens.
I guess currency is the big factor here.

Sorry if this is an annoying thing to ask but I just can't work out how I can get the currency required at a reasonable rate for some of these purchases. I'm far along enough in my build to have the ability to farm red maps with ease. Over 150 atlas completion now. Should I uncomplete some of my map to farm a shaped map with sextants now?

hitting 4.25 APS requires ZERO additional investment assuming you have 12% poets pens, unnatural instinct, and 22 quality on all your frenzy links.

Yes but I don't have any atziri's acuity with a curse on hit on a temp league unfortunately. Running a 3rd curse requires me to get rid of culling strike, making me lose 10% attack speed. Since I really enjoy the feeling of VP, I kind of don't want to get rid of acuity.
Edit: my solution would be indeed to get 22q frenzy and fa and get a 3damage mods + 6% ias jewel to replace one of mine.
Edit2: found the perfect one that puts me at 4.27 without culling strike or q22 frenzy & fa and allows me getting enfeeble as the 3rd curse

The dream now would be getting a +1 curse chayula amulet

Its a bestiary recipe. You need to find Fenumus with Einar and capture him. Or buy it from someone who has it.

What am I doing wrong? My PoB build shows 110k arc dps with flasks up while build dps in PoB is like 1.2MM shaper dps arc only.

I know all of that. I was asking if there was a certain way to farm that specific beast.
