Hey Exiles!

I wrote a new BuildGuide (kinda on a whim) for another Occultist. :)

It's something slower and not quite as high-octane as this build - but feel free to check it out if you like LowLife ES Builds! :)

What I did was play as self cast Arc, this was enough to get my first poets pen. 1st PP is actually enough to get you to T13-T14 maps then you should have your 2nd PP after that.

Can't get a Spider Aura + Warlords Mark Elder Ring this league. So i changed some stuff:

1. Head Enchant: +1 Ball Lightning projectile, more hits > more life gain from Watcher's Eye

2. 4 Link Frenzy + 2 Link CWDT + Lightning Golem; i use phase runing nearly on cd and the frenzy charges are missing for attack speed

3. Leveld CWDT to 1/3 HP Trigger because of the easy endurance charge uptime.

Still missing Chayula and a good abyss belt though. And im not sure what boots to pick now that im skipping the spider aura. Any suggestions?

In your PoB you have this ring http://prntscr.com/lvugeu. It has 5 suffixes. Is that a mistake or i am missing something?
I am able to craft spider aura from the recipe. I need a ring with an open suffix right? So for a warlords ring the suffixes would be:

1) warlords curse
2) aspect of the spider
3) resists or dex / str

Aspect doesnt get added as 4th suffix and if the ring doesnt have open suffix can i even craft the aspect on it?

Gear concerns:
chayula is hard to replace but in the meantime a good resist/ chaos res ammy with max es and es + some res or stats to help save points in tree works.
belts are cheap just go with a normal belt or a crystal belt till u get a good vise. boots try to find a good pair of es boots with res or high es or dodge spell damage or dodge phys dmg. Also sin treks work great. not everyone has characters hidden and are playing this league check their gear! Keep asking questions :) the more you understand the build the better you may be able to get more dps and defenses.

Helmet option:
instead of indigon The verterx (and cheap!!)is a great defensive option and has +1 gems so u can run the blood magic auras with level 2 enlighten and 20 blood magic.

Other chest option :
for cheap and till u can afford shav's is solaris lorica.
remember this build does great even with mf gear so just find the pieces u need to make it work and go from there.

Another high end option: Unnatural instinct 5 skill points for tons more spell dmg multiplier and 9% run speed and more!

Chimera map:
For the person having trouble on chimera what I do or his smoke phase i hit speed pot and 6 which is phase run and i run through the smoke clouds quickly and i also hit my evasion pot. i can take about 5 hits or so so plenty of time with 7k es and arctic armor to find him in the smoke clouds only died once to that on a super rippy map bad luck finding him.

oh and dont troll people if you're on standard vs betrayal league player but then again if you can afford 21/20 gems and a level 4 enlighten a few divine orbs on ur hat is probably well within your reach too :p

No idea how they have that ring its not possible.
even for theorycrafting getting warlords mark is hard enough let alone a few decent mods on it.

Yeah that ring is on his indigon and mirror gear PoBs. In his live char he has a warlords curse ring + spider aura with only 1 more suffix. So i think its a mistake he didnt notice. You can make these rings in PoB with custom moding.

It's definitely not impossible to get a ring like that, just takes a lot of time. I used about 1k alts and a couple ex to make this one:



The enchant is just a placeholder, going for double veiled probably. I did this in an hour, imagine if you took a whole day to work on something?


I have a question, would ES recovery rate help this build leech faster? That's the ONLY thing killing me right now, not leeching fast enough Dx.
