We got some heavy changes in the occultist passive tree it seems.
Gonna have some work after the patchnote :D

As a result, the Cast on Critical Strike Support and Cast on Melee Kill Support will also have their cooldowns reduced."

We'll see how heavy. If anything, cold skills could be a fun option depending on the changes. The ES increase on the tree would be a boost depending on where the nodes are. We'll see on the full notes tomorrow but it could be a boost overall (ES) without changing much of the build. The rarity of the Pens could be a concern but we should know more with the full patch notes.

This note probably won't do anything for this build. I doubt the PP cooldown will be reduced.

Yeah! Excited what those will be! :) Will be fun to figure all that out.

3.5 Changes: Small Nerf. Indigon gives roughly half as much Damage as before - since we didnt rely on the item anyhow this is not such a big deal for us. It is still the BiS Item for us in terms of damage. Other options such as the newly buffed 'Crown of the Brine King' and the good ol' 'The Vertex' became comperativly more attractive though as defensive alternatives.

The changes to the passive tree regarding the ascendency are still up in the air - If I would have to guess though I would think that Forbidden Power and Void Beacon are gonna be replaced with the new skills.

As such... nothing much changes for us. We loose the option to go for Forbidden Power instead of Vile Bastion - but since Vile Bastion was the preferred Ascendency by most players anyhow this doesn't change anything. I'll update the OP when we know for sure.

Other than that yeah we're pretty much golden :)

No change to Arc, no change to Ball Light, no change to Poet Pen !!
You better update your build Cyrix because you are getting spammed real hard very very soon HAHA :)

(regarding helmet if you play with 3 curses, use a doedre's scorn)

Killed Shaper for the 1st time last season (Delve) and look forward to do the same with Uber Elder this league !

I'm wondering what is the best way to lvl this build as starter ?
Self cast arc ?
Is it even really viable as starter or better start and do currency with something else ? (I mean u know.. to get those Poet's..)
