Started this league trying dark pact MOM occult poet with the hopes it might work out really well with the new herald of agony. Turns out . . . like everyone says . . . it feels slow. Flame dash just doesn't feel fluid enough for me to enjoy. Additionally it turns out you can just throw herald of agony on this guides version of the occult arc CI variant and still get a fun little crawly boi out all the time.
Gearing up slowly but this build is working out really well. About to attempt guardians/shaper. So far everything up to T16 has been a breeze without too crazy of a currency investment. Felt really good making the switch to using both poets. I leveled with regular arc. Also I dropped purity/arctic armor for herald of ice and herald of agony . . . purely because I wanted a scorpion bro and the herald of ice shatters. Thanks to the author for putting this together, I look forward to trying out some of the more expensive upgrades to see how far I can take this in the delves after finishing uber elder for my first time. Hi, I have shavs gear in standard, but I am running legacy CI gear, and thinking try a version of this with this gear, have you tried it? what can be the difference? I think more ES but not sure if the loss of DPS ruin the build

About this League: I am theorycrafting around with Herald of Agony - its base Damage component is really overtuned - but its a single pet with questionable AI and Attackskill. I personally feel like its a bit of a PaperTiger. If I could find a way to get Virulence Stacks going I think it might be good for an ED build. Otherwise I haven't really played the League. But I am confident it will come to standard along with Incursion. Looking forward to that. " Nope. I started to play the game in Bestiary. No legacy ES gear for me, sorry. ^^ You can certainly try it out. Disable one BloodmagicAura+ equip a lifeflask and you are good to go. |

Fairly Minor Update in the ChestSlot: Changed some of the Quality of Life Gems - Phase Run has a borderline stupid interaction with Arcane Surge. If you spend Frenzy Charges with Phase Run the resulting Arcane Surge will also have an incredibly long duration: For me it is about 20 seconds.
Also Phase Run is instant cast - making it extremly good for this build. Also added an unnatural instinct jewel for the live character pob. Its pretty out there and neat but the lv investment gets a bit crazy. Not needed at all - more of an option if people wonder where to put their currency. Few questions on this build:
Haven't done CI in a while, is it still suggested to level as life then switch to CI or is going CI from the start not as bad now? In terms of ES sustain, since its not easy to get the spider stuff in delve, would the watcher eye + some es gain on hit jewels be suitable enough? |

" It's low life, not CI, but yeah, you shouldn't spec into it without at minimum shavs (IMO) and some OK ES gear. It can definitely work without the spider gear. I used a single Watcher's Eye with ES gained on hit (and no other jewels with ES GoH) and was able to do uber elder. This is my PoB that I used with my specific gear. Is there any way I can sacrifice some DPS or a little survivability to add Freeze / Proliferation for this build? I'm hearing that's the way people do deep delves now.
