Would switching to the indigon version help? I've got about 55 ex saved up for whatever I need to do.

note: I know some of my gems are missing quality/lvl 21 - I've been offhand leveling and vaaling these, but haven't gotten lucky just yet. If that's the improvement that will take my character to the next level, then it's a very easy fix, but I suspect there's some bigger flaws in my gear.

You just answered your own question. Get 21/20 Gems. The difference is huge. Just look at it in PoB and change the level of the Gems and you will notice that. I mean, thats the main difference between your items and the PoB, so what else should it be?

Question, at what point will I know I am ready to try shaper?

If you wouldn't mind looking at my character and give some notes or advice I would love it!

Also got watchers eye with ES on hit and wrath penetration. I'm thinking my next uppg will be Ball Lightning 21/20, other than that I think my jewels are pretty poopoo but I dont know how big a priority they are for me now, so what would you suggest I uppg next? I tried uber elder once and I RIPd hard but I guess thats a matter of practice, also didnt have Pain Attunement when I first tried that (Neither indigon)

I also wonder what rolls I want on my indigon, or is it fine right now? I'm not sure about my Attack Speed either but it feels like Im skipping some casts.

Any help on how I could improve would be greatly appreciated, especially if I could get a list to cross off things in order of achieving them.

It's the most common mistake of some players.
On a boss encounter, you need to analyze the damage type, go to the wiki and poedb. You can also look at the zone modifier in delve.

Let's take for example Delve boss Ahuatotli

Well for our spec he will be a pain in the ass. The only reason is because this boss does only physical damage. Nothing else. Do you need resistance? Absolutely not. I manage to kill one at depth 700 with negative cold and fire res.

Mine only had a bonus to lightning.

So what do you do => you DROP all your resist and put armor => determination aura, granite and basalt, pantheon solaris + tukohama, arctic armor.
And suddenly without changing any piece of gear you stand at a solid 70% phys mitigation. You can have -75 fire res, it absolutely doesn't matter.
**bonus** You can also try to add fortify buff

Let's take for example Uber Elder

Same as above, you go to the wiki and analyze the fight a little bit.
Then you will see that the only 2 problematic source of damage are cold and phys.

Only shaper beam and balls will deal fire+light+cold.
What do you do =>
1/ get fire+light res at 75%
2/ avoid the beam and the balls at all cost
3/ drop a bit of dps for example herald thunder, and instal purity of ice.
4/ Get an armor flask + 1/2 cold flask (taste of haste is a must). You now have a total of 86%cold res, and you might be near 50% phys.
=> You will then notice the fight to be much easier.

FYI for anyone wanting to run ele reflect maps, you do need to wear a sibyl's lament in the left ring slot along with the watchers and yugul pantheon to get 100% reduced reflected elemental damage taken. With even only 92% (shaper ring with 20% instead of sibyl's), you still kill yourself pretty easily.

Woop! Yeah,. Sybills is even better, you are totally correct. I never bothered doing the elerefelct immunity thing, I just saw that it is possible. ^^

hello guys, need some help with build improvement. i dont know what to do, bcs im kinda newbie.

It is realy impressive to see people buying 5+ ex piece of equipment, but not buying 20/20 gem which litteraly cost 3C.

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS GEM LEVEL IN THE POET SETUP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You should add this line in your build description at the start Cyrix, realy.

Arc 21/20 is >>far superior>>> to any piece of equipment, arc 20/20 is mandatory and cost 3C. Don't level this gem, it is a mistake.
Same for ball lightning.

On pb i also noticed with my setup that Empower4 would bring me just a little bit more dps that lightning pen.
