Did you use RVA with pledge? I tried them and they spent a lot of time casting the low dps storm call instead of lightning ball, so I went back to fire based spectres.

No W+S, DPS in that fight doesnt really matter, i always start the fight with SDs and have to let the Zombies finish the phase before i go to the mine to get the RVAs.

I have a new Sirus encounter ready and will test it again tomorrow to see of they survive.

Some notes:

Unfortunately this isn't a deathless kill as I lost sight of Sirus a few times and got zapped from off screen.

I used an updated version of the PoH / EB & MoM build. The build and they way to play it hasn't changed much from the version at league start.

The main changes was replacing Aul's Haste amulet with a +1 int gem amulet to get 5th spectre. (this also reduces the cost of the build)

I've also skipped 'mana gained as ES' on the watcher's eye because they are too expensive now, but eyes with 'phasing while haste' are cheap (40-60c).

I also changed the anointment from Influence to Death Attunement because I'm using fewer auras.

Lastly, I have not added cyclone cwc spirit offering!

Its actually free, as you'll sell all your "failures" for profit anyway, you just need an initial investement and 4ex per try. Only thing i really lost was the imprint of this one, as i obviously dont plan to roll back the regaled life so i throw it away... :-)

Just ran an A8 Sirus now that the patch (3.9.2) has hit. Didn't bother switching from slave drivers, and also didnt use any extra survival gems for my minions or anything.

I do have a few extra points in minion regen and leech compared to the guide (instead of personal HP) since I've not had any issues surviving myself.

Result was not a single minion death. Not even a zombie. The storms just kinda do their own thing now and I honestly barely noticed them. You can keep far away from them VERY easily. no other abilities even seemed to touch my minions HP. I intend to switch to and use my animated guardian with my next go as I have no doubt that he will not be dying in that fight now. Don't go walking your own animated guardian in with a few ex worth of gear though without giving it a shot first to make sure you feel confident about it, but after not losing my zombies I'm not gonna worry about it myself anymore.

Just did my second go of sirus (first after patch) and this time only died once (first time didnt finish him). This time was only A3 though. Im using spectres in my helm and zombies with srs in the 6L. Had my poor mans AG up and nothing died at all. 5 sd, 9 weakish zombies, ag and golem.

Love this build/guide, it is super fun. I have changed it some to be more tanky and to try stuff out. Killed the level 7 Sirius easy after the last patch.


Here is my gear at the moment. I am overcapped on some res at the moment but it will make it easier for the next few upgrades.

Nice! You hit a monster of a regal. And yeah every failed dupe attempt you can sell the 6link base off for like 2ex. So really its like 2ex attempt to make something nutty. :) congrats

After yesterdays update storms barely damaging minions...now SD's just melts Sirus :)
