What do you think about that shield?

For now I'm using, but I don't have Necromatic Aegis.


Is arcane surge for spectres good enough? What gems could I socket in that to take advantage of veiled prefix?

I'm having enough DPS with my 3 spectres and 30c cheap gear to clear T16 maps, tho sometimes getting one shotted by metamorphs. Losing even more survivability for increasing DPS when you deal critical strike - doesn't sounds like a good idea.

Perhaps a noobish question.

I'm lvl 84 (SSF) yet to find a 5-link for my spectres. I do have a +2 minion gems 4-link helmet which allows me to get lvl 26 spectre (20 gem, +1 boots, +1 wand, +2 helmet and +2 accendancy).

I am thinking that perhaps I should wait for 6-Link or lvl 21 spectre before even spending too much currency trying to link an armour?

What do you guys think. 4L with 4 spectres or 5Link with 3?

Level 8 Awakener down, kinda on a 5-link (forgot to put Spell Echo back after resummoning Slave Drivers before the last phase).
With a couple of deaths due to lack of experience and the beam fps drops.

Spend 2.5 ex on stupid wand fossil craft(took 75 ilvl base) and didn't get. DON'T DO THIS, JUST BUY IT ON TRADE.

How you dealt with spectres suiciding in vortexes? Or you swapped your main spell to something else for this fight?

How you dealt with spectres suiciding in vortexes? Or you swapped your main spell to something else for this fight?

I used lightning risen vaal advocates for the first two phases as the safest choice possible, but I'm pretty sure slave drivers should be fine with good convocation control and spirit offering spam.

guess cyclone-cast while channeling-desecrate-spirit offering

I did my second fight against sirius with risen vaal advocates, too. Unfortunatly I feel they deal a lot less damage than the slave drivers, but they do have the big advantage of not wandering around like crazy. It makes dealing with the storms much easier. I did not lose even a single one, even though I was close to the storms sometimes. I was using meatshield and spirit offering.
