Long time looking for CI/ES build and found this, but i played two leagues in a row with molten strike and kinda get bored of it.
So i wanna try spectral throw. Can you give me some advice with adaptation to spectral throw?

Ok, so your boots could use a bit more ES, your helmet as well. If you had 250 on helmet and 150 on boots, you'd be at around 9300 ES. Abyss jewels with high flat ES are also what can improve your ES amount, replacing your Cobalt jewels with 40 flat ES would push it to 9500. One of your Opal's also have only 10 Int, with 40 instead it would be 9700 ES.

So yes, it looks like just some gear differences really.

For reference, I had around 9300-9700 ES at levels 85-90 with the gear posted on page 1 (rings, belt, amulet, gloves, HoWAs that says "verified" and also boots, chest and helmet that doesn't). I got up to just over 10k by level 92 I think. After that, I've bought my new chest (and boots to match resistances better) which pushed my ES to over 11k. I think 9k ES is enough to do everything.

If you want to push to over 10k ES yourself, best things to upgrade would be boots, helmet, Abyss jewels with flat ES and chest with higher base ES. Sometimes you can get a good deal, like I believe I managed to steal one of the if not the best Regalias in whole Incursion for this build, but there are other good pieces. I've seen an already 6 linked Regalia listed for a mere 8ex with some small resists and space to craft/recraft Intelligence on them, as well as 650 ES. A chest like that could give you another 1k ES over what you have currently.

Ok so I've taken my old Scion HoWA pastebin (Abyss league character) and modified it to fit better for Occultist.

With Scion I had around 600k dps in PoB but 10.7k ES with Clarity Watchers at level 95, Occultist looks like could reach 537k dps but 11500 ES. So, lower dps but more ES. Had to use Conductivity to bring the dps up though, you could realistically push it to 582k dps which is almost the same as Scion, by using Wrath instead of Herald, but resists will be harder to get. Scion only needs to spend 4 points to get jewel socket by resistance nodes, while Occultist needs 7. This means it's probably a better idea to use a Herald, Purity instead of Wrath, and just get less resists on rings. I didn't factor this in or changed the rings, so Occultist with Purity will be more resist overcapped then my Scion, less resists means more damage on the rings (because of the price), so Occultist shouldn't be lagging behind that much.

You can then check out my Scion videos on my YT channel to get a feel for how much dps you gonna get with Spectral Throw, but although I didn't have Point Blank in the videos, which is around 25% more dps total for Spectral Throw, I did get to a point where I had some really strong jewels and rest of my gear was also pretty dope, like my amulet. You can also check out my Scion ST thread for any tips regarding playing ST, I don't remember if I wrote any down, but it might be worth it for you to take a look.

Word of advice though: dps feels shit without enchant, it is important for MS, but it is extremely important for ST.

Could you run a frost blades setup for mapping? Or do you find MS quick enough?

I'm trying someting like this ,i tried wandercultist earlier and was really good. I was thinking on reave 4l and bf 6 l ? what do you think ?

Can this build handle hardcore? What about while leveling? It looks survivable enough.. but haven't seen any mention in this thread.

You can try different gem setups if you like, Molten Strike is decent enough though. Just make sure you have curse on hit, any curse really, but Enfeeble is cheap enough and Ele Weakness is just great.

With Blade Flurry you can get around 1-1.4 million dps with decent gear. Lower then Molten Strike but it is true that it will be faster mapper due to Reave.

Since levelling is mostly done as a hybrid, it will be really hard to do in HC. Not being a hc player myself I don't have any recommendations, maybe level as life based or even just switch to this build after you get to maps. Some people done it with my wander build and they are still alive in hc, so with this build it might be actually easier. But if you do try it, then levelling process is going to be the hardest part.

I found a watcher's eye jewel with ES on hit while affected by disc, worth using?

Definitely, if you use it with Ancestral Call permanently (even for bosses) it will boost your total recovery.
