since I have enough resists from my gear, I thought to swap herald+purity for wrath, doing this would open a spot to put wrath+empower+enlighten and still have 140+ free mana.

in Incursion i played a Ascendent Molten Strike Brutus Lead Sprinkler build with strength stacking (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2172248), after some failed builds i tried out this season i respecced my witch to this HoWA build and now i'm nearly 94

i must say i like this build even more than my Molten Strike build last season

advantages of going HoWA Occultist against Ascendent Lead Sprinkler:
- more ES
my Ascendent has 12600ES with really good gear, i think my Occultist can reach nearly 15k with that level of gear
- better clear thanks to Profane Bloom
- better defense thanks to Vile Bastion and 2 curses (and more ES)
- more gearing options - you don't need a Black Sun Crest, Alberon's Warpath and Geofri's Sanctuary
- easier to get the Molten Strike lab enchant since you don't need Black Sun Crest

its really fun and besides Uber Elder i cleared everything with ease so far and rechaing delve 430

How is this build for delve farming? Since you can't flask up your "health" pool?

many life-based builds with vaal pact don't even carry a life flask with them and they still do fine, anyway the build is pretty tanky to delve because you got the vile bastion ascendancy for energy shield regeneration, a lot of leech, vaal discipline and a good clear thanks to profane bloom

Almost to level 80 atm, i like the build but still die a bit. Could anyone suggest on what I need to do in order to improve it more?

Nothing changed really. Aside from the Templar part.

Here how it should look like:

I'm currently farming the endgame content at the moment, including the Uber Elder!
I still can't do it deathless because I'm a bit clunky so I waste one or two portals, but it's actually easy to do with a bit of practice, because the build already has a lot of hp (10k energy shield even with dream fragments) and damage, it's just a matter of survivability, dodging balls, focusing tentacles, switching to the vulnerable boss at the right time etc.

dream fragments I would say it's mandatory unless you have an exceptional flask management with at least 2-3 freeze removal flasks, corruption helps, I have to swap the wise oak because I can't balance the resistances for that fight. An extra sapphire flask is nice to have.
I still think that damage on full life is better than ancestral call, because sometimes you can't stand at the right distance from the bosses to proc the ancestral, tentacles die fast anyway.
of course you lose a bit of damage with the dream fragments but it makes things smooth, after a certain thresold you don't need that extra damage
ps: I use a watcher's eye with recovery and lightning damage

Great build. I really want to give it a try on HC. I have several questions:
1)What support would you recommend to play with this build? I can think of guardian with generosity wrath and def auras.
2)Would you recommend using spectral throw for early mapping? Or reave? Or do you think molten strike is totally viable even for mapping?
3)What do you think about using incandescent heart body armour on HC? It seems really nice.
