Vile Bastion also got hit HARD, maxes out at 10% now instead of 30%.

Patch 3.7: Vile Bastion: No longer requires any Ascendancy notables. It now grants 1% energy shield regeneration per second for each enemy you or your minions have killed recently, up to 10% (from a maximum of 30%). No longer grants +150 to maximum energy shield.

On trade league you can still pull it off with high amount of investment, like a Watcher's eye with % regen while affected by discipline etc.

On SSF, I really don't wanna give false calls, but it looks pretty dead to me.

Best case scenario you permanently de-gen for ~2% your ES, and this is on non-less regen maps while having killed 10 monsters recently and all your flasks and buffs up.

Other than running a Shav's and Purity of Fire of course, as that provides less degen, I can't see anyone reasonably playing this build anymore on SSF, not even Aila.

And even with the Purity, you won't regen ES anymore.

You can either gimp the DMG hard by removing curses to run the Purity on Mana and skip the Shav's for a Shaper chest, to at least be able to recover ES, but the regen just isn't really happening anymore in an extent that actually heals you.

At this point I think Trickster LL RF is better, Cutedog has a video on it but it is expensive as hell.
