Passage Key Drop Rates

Is it me or do the passage keys seem to have a really low drop rate? Yes im still leveling but have missed out on 4 boss fights in the temple because keys do not want to drop. Each time I enter an incursion with my build, im prob killing 85-95% of the monsters according to the bar at the bottom of the screen. And then when a key does drop, the door I need to open to progress through the temple is all the way on the other side of the map and usually cant get there in time. I have a buddy who right now is level 89 telling me he has the same problems as I do.

I think the key drop rate needs to be upped a little bit.

Update:

Did a bunch of incursions last night and had a room with 4 doors, and 0 key drops. 20 seconds or so still left on the clock and running around through the room again to see if keys did drop pressing my alt key for items to pop up and guess what. Not one key dropped. So sick of this shit.

Then I have rooms that have 2 doors open naturally and 1 closed and Ill have 2 keys drop which I dont need but then have rooms with no doors open and 0 keys are dropping. It seems at least for me and my buddy who is level 90, keys are hardly dropping. Only reason I have been able to reach the apex for the boss is because of t3 explosive rooms I get.

I usually get one but it's always at the complete opposite end of the room where I need it to be and I have 2 seconds left
I have gotten two keys in an incursion before.

Once you learn the rooms, and you learn to use your speed potions, and have a plan before you go in it gets easier.

Also: the rooms difficulty is based on the area, and so is the temple. You could do 11 incursions from alva by running the ledge and resetting it - and then run the temple by meeting Alva in a T15 map or blood aquaducts or wherever...if you wanted to.
I'm pretty sure the keys are scripted to drop from one of the mobs in the room. The key drop is guaranteed, not random. You will get 1 key most of the time (usually from a rare mob) and 2 sometimes. It will be much easier at higher level when you can clear the entire room in a few seconds. I always clear the full room with 15-20 sec left.
i always get one key, sometimes 2 but by that time the time usually runs out and i cant open the second door

You are doing it wrong. When you see where the door you want to open is located you need to plan your route so that is the last area you get to. That way it does not matter if you get the key early or late. Either way you will be at the right door at the right time.

Just focus on clearing and racking up some time on the clock, and taking out the right architect along the way. Don't just make a mad dash to the door as soon as you get the key drop. Focus on clearing the zone.

If you do it right you will clear the zone, pickup the key along the way, open the right door, walk back to the zone out and leave with 20+ seconds on the clock.

I have not even equipped a quicksilver this league and I full clear the zones 99% of the time as above.

Im sorry but this is BS. I can't even count how many times I've cleared whole incursion (meaning every single mob fyi) and guess what no key dropped what so ever. How is that for "guaranteed"? And yes being finished with the incursion with 20+ secs left is the obvious thing in this case.

I am pretty sure the temple is not based on the area you start it from. You can also invite Alva to your ho and start it from there. Last time I did it, the temple had monster lvl 76, which was about the average lvl of the maps I played the incursions in.
Seems like there is a 50/50 conciseness on passage keys dropping. I had one run tonight after I made this post, cleared the whole room and im guessing I only missed one guy since my progress bar was basically full and no key dropped at all. I mean killing a couple hundred enemies and no key drops is just plain bull shit. Maybe that one last guy would have dropped it, who knows. But what it comes down to is rooms have 3-5(maybe 4 i cant rem) exits I think and I have not seen more then 2 keys drop. And there are times where you dont get to play that room again and if only 1 or 2 keys are dropping, you cant connect all the rooms you need to get to.
