do you know how *free* works? imagine these mtx were good, especially the 36 one. it increases player retention. the longer people play, the more mtx they might buy and the more new people may be dragged into poe due to a more active community.

and there are some people who don't care about mtx, play with default everything and get some cool mtx from challenges. suddenly, they may be interested to bling bling their char a bit more. it is in ggg's interest to make good challenge mtx.

Well, maybe you're right.

I just think the rewards its not that bad as some ppl said. Portal is cool, back attach is cool, and the 12th reward is... well, the 12th reward. 12 challenges is something you can make in first day of league. Atleast it's not a fucking footprints (again). :D

TO be honest, now that I watched the video again, the Bandana is actually pretty cool. A lot better than any footprint we had in the past. Best 12th challenge reward ever. Still people are complaining about it.

It's the same thing every time. Head piece, back piece, portal. I think the F2Players want something different. I personally buy the MTX i want, but come on guys. You can only slam a nail in a piece of wood so many times with the hammer.

Alright. here is my opinion on the rewards:
I first of all think that the bandana is a bit "cheap" its not something I think I would wear ingame. was expecting something more in the vaal theme.

I think the back attatchment looks awesome, i love that. :)

And at last I think that the portal looks too much like the poretal from the supporterpack I just purchased, meanming that there would be no real reason for me to go all the way to get that portal.
I didnt mean to offend, I just wanted to give my personal take on it.

BTW i LOVE all the igame 3D art you are doing for all the uniques :)

To the people complaining: I'm curious what you had in mind for the rewards, since they would need to be themed to fit the league. I'm not very excited for these, but I have to wonder if we've all become spoiled.

So what would you have liked instead? Maybe stuff that's blood themed? Would that have fit better? You can say what you want about this stuff, but it does fit the theme I think.

The last set I was very excited for was Abyss, but not every league will be dark colored-themed and deathy like that.

As someone else mentioned, they didn't initially like Bestiary rewards. I didn't either, but managed to make a nice MTX set using the hat that I really enjoy.

I really liked the Bestiary hat and wings, actually, but not the portal (too much sickly green for me), so I didn't bother with it. Here at least (by my tastes), they get better as you progress, though, yeah, portal effects aren't too important for me either.

But what I'm really hoping is that some day they'll change the look of the challenge totem poles. Yes, Roman, shiny, I know, but they're all so much alike they're infinitely boring, just the flags and symbols changing from league to league. A totem pole custom-designed for the league in question, each with a completely different look, would personally motivate me to chase the challenges. Like this, just... meh.
