[3.13] GOLEMENTALIST (Flame Golems Elementalist) Build (Easy & Safe for everyone!) +Video guide!

Expecting more nerfs to the beloved zombie build. How that trickles into golems or melee builds is TBD. Rumors on nerf to certain gear seems silly since it will indirectly impact other builds. Time will tell. I'm comfortably back into pure golem via primordial amulet, albeit ice.

Ouch, I just realized patch notes were released, I'll take a look.


Ahh yes, my beloved shaper's touch is on the list. The gear all retain legacy? Or did they hard clip Baron? I guess for league it matters not, so I suspect the legacy remains in std.

Other than that, not seeing anything impacting this build. Feeding frenzy loses the more dmg for dummy golems, which doesn't really matter as long as the dmg dealer obtains the buff as before.

Feeding Frenzy is in the dumpster now.

Yes, they certainly nerfed that puppy into the ground but I suppose other minion builds need it to make their play minions aggressive. ;)

I'll have to check golem clusters.

Update: several of the minion specific clusters add value, golem specific is quite nice and again scales on golem count.

"Primordial Bond
10% increased Damage per Summoned Golem
40% increased Effect of Buffs granted by your Golems
Golems have 25% increased Maximum Life

Update 1.5 (13/03/2020)
-Updated Pob for 3.10
-Removed Feeding Frenzy as it's useless now
-Added Ravenous Horde anointment
-added awekened gems and panthens in pob
-added slow projectiles gem for bossing switch (optional)

Feel free to check out POB guys and let me know what think or what you want to add.
Also a bit of doubtful about GMP for bosses. Do magma balls overlap at all? I can hardly remember.

They do not overlap. GGG has clarified this over the last year. "However, the explosions from Magma Orb's splashdown do not overlap, meaning that each time the orbs strike down at the same time, damage is dealt only once to any given enemy”

LMP always for bossing is the way to go. GMP is helpful for mapping clear speed but depending on how many flameGs you are running (7+) can get by with LMP

Slower proj vs LMP for bossing? Think that is situational. Any boss with adds you will want LMP imo. Boss with no adds slower proj seems viable alternative for extra dps. There are a few fights with significant adds where even GMP may be warranted for coverage, depending on golem count. From my experience, even red elder, unless using frost wall, GMP was better for adds to protect shaper. Drox is the most recent where GMP is helpful or LMP if running 7+ flameGs. Not sure what the new content will bring.
Is there a levelling guide for league start? The lvl 41 tree in the PoB build kind of requires 7 primordial jewels, which is, uh... well it isn't very possible for a league-start.
