[3.13] GOLEMENTALIST (Flame Golems Elementalist) Build (Easy & Safe for everyone!) +Video guide!
Yep, and then he starts removing gem after gem until no gems left in Victario's Influence, in the end he's doing t16 pretty much naked, no chest, no gloves, belt.... just The Baron with Spectres and crappy Queen's Escape with Raise Zombie gem only.
The Sword and Armour you can 5-link for a few Chaos with the prophecy, so he's quite right, the whole thing costs less than 1ex. Last edited by tomay#5509 on Feb 21, 2020, 8:07:58 AM

50k zombie DPS x 15 with queens escape minion speed is indeed enough for all t16s, minion speed is king in mapping, qol and perception.
Saw the video before as that is the primary thread for zombie build, one would need to run the numbers for DPS, but zombies could be sub 20k in the end and still map strong with that speed. Last edited by ShadowHamed#3295 on Feb 21, 2020, 8:31:08 AM

Mon'tregul's Grasp was actually quite insane in my setup for mapping as the whole screen was flame with exploding fire dmg + flameG. Does nothing for single Target in that scenario and so had no value for my setup.

Just saying, with your array of pets the Necromancer ascendancy is far more suitable even if you want flame golems as the main force. Obviously you'd be using no other golems but everything getting +4 levels is crazy damage and minion leech taking care of their survivability.

Yes, the main hit is losing 2 golems from the ascendancy, there would have to be a dmg boost somewhere to make up for it and without running Baron or pure zombie build, I'm not sure it adds up but I'm looking at it. It's striking the right balance, obviously flameG is not the strongest single tgt, so I would have to get that from somewhere and without zombie as focus, that might be a challenge.
Think my best option is to drop zombie, move spectre to meatshield and add multi-strike. Perhaps adding carrion golem. That would push up DPS and not sacrifice anything. Necro would only make sense if I went Baron + zombie build and then flameGs are basically dead. Looking at pure skeleton builds have given me all the info I need to push them further. Update: trimmed the zombie fat, stronger in every respect. Tried the carrion swap for chaos, but the defense with chaos is just too good when stacked with crab. Frenzy skellies are quite fun, little more action. When I raise about 30 more ex, I might swap flameG for iceG primary, need another 7 link golem helm or weapon and some other swaps. I was able to pull off the Ice Golem build with little investment. Running a pure physical dmg build as an elementalist and it's stronger vs bosses than flame Gs and honestly may be better mapping/blight too. Pure ice golem would be solid running 10-11 golems, maximize for 1M+ per. Juiced up with speed they are animals. Since I'm running hybrid, the ice and and skellies aren't quite as powerful as they could be, but never the less, a boss killer. With a life based elementalist one would be able to strengthen icies even further, assuming you are running 10+ Gs and are able to run some auras. The dmg increase from 10+ is substantial. I'm getting full frenzies with the spectres and other items from passive +2 eminence, but still, with primordial chain, I imagine they are ruthless. I may give that a whirl at some point very soon, but right now enjoying the mix and 1M skellies aren't bad + the vaal.

Ice Golems obviously much stronger with a pure life or MoM build. You can ditch Discipline for Hatred. Grip of the Council/Triad Grip are much better choice of gloves for Ice Golems. Curse with Punishment or EW (depending with Gloves. Use Victario's Charity, Ice Golems truly LOVE them charges.

Yes, obviously there are some ice builds sitting at 1.5M per single target, frenzied, the things are insane flying around the screen with the roll which can get up towards 2M per. I believe I can tip them north of 1M and 1.5M roll but one could hit peak with life or MoM as you say. I'll probably give it a whirl this weekend, so much gear sitting around it won't take much to sling together. Most likely run hatred w/ generosity and dual curse and drop pride.

I believe, the current OP combo for Ice Golems is a +2 wand (with trigger craft for Desecrate and Flesh Offering) and Victario's Charity (6+3 golems) which is reasonable... unless you you're willing to spend big cash in std and get a legacy lvl 20 Maim Support 2hd shaped Mace.
Also keep in mind that Ice Golems do need a bit of Minion Accuracy. Last edited by tomay#5509 on Feb 25, 2020, 9:16:37 AM

Agreed, I did read that build spec with that setup. I have them 100% accuracy. I'll have to slowly swap some gear but am certainly position to run now since I did a quick and dirty and dropped several bosses (Sirus, Minotaur, etc) with slightly faster times than flameG. Dedicated ice G will be more bang. I'm toying with running 6-1-1-1-1, but will see how pob comes out, not sure how that compares, but with my existing gear that might be best with 3 Gs in helm and carrion running FF. Pob doesn't appear to credit carrion as unique type but my eyes may have cheated me. Carrion won't do much dmg with no support but he is a bit crazy and flys all over map, until I get new helm I just as well keep the burning/immolate with combustion for the added fire, although it's insignificant.
Update: the theory craft panned out, the build is exceptionally strong. Need to get final calculations but going to be north of 1M per, possibly 1.2+ per single tgt with all things firing just for iceG default attack. Keeping hybrid ES/Life for now but dropped discipline. Dmg appears to be a great defense and still at 10k ES/life. As expected with boosted single tgt, all bosses drop at least twice as quick. Blight easier and mapping still dominate, at least as strong probably stronger but more variables into mix. Ice golem roll on 2 sec CD is strong aoe with the speed in play, separates it from zombie minion I believe Last edited by ShadowHamed#3295 on Mar 9, 2020, 10:12:26 PM
