But c'mon 3 of 5 of these traps got 8 second base cd.. Even after reductions its 4ish you expect some1 gonna wait that long to cast his skill once every 4 seconds for real?

Also that change where you should invest in cast speed so what's the diffrent from the self caster and traper right now?


Those are meant as support damage skills, not your spam skill. And regarding the cast speed thing - having new options for how to play a trapper doesn't mean you're forced to use them, or even that they'll become the go-to way of doing it. They haven't changed core trap mechanics by adding in a new unique and a couple of unusual trap skills.

Given their long cooldowns and/or that they do their damage over time, that's probably just as well.
its a noob trap!

who need regen against 10 ennemies when you can one shot every mob with anoter powerful skill (even better traps )

Useless for single boss , not enormous dps =trash skill

Yes, I know that there are a few more subtle differences beyond just what modifiers affect them (adhering to separate maximum limits for example). I was thinking more conceptually.

I think of a trap as something you put down, a monster walks over it, and it blows up in its face.

I think of a totem as something you put down and it keeps spitting stuff at nearby monsters for some time.

Conceptually Siphoning, Flamethrower, and to some degree Seismic [X] fit much more in the latter category than the former; at least in my opinion.

I feel sorry for anyone who gets any use out of this. Don't quit right away though, there are plenty of builds out there you can have fun on and most have guides!
I saw "siphon", got excited for power siphon and saw this :(
